Bringing a new cat into current cat's home??22 Dec 2004 03:11 GMT3
I've got Dusty, a 5 year old fixed, declawed male part maine-coone/shorthair
who doesn't take to strangers (humans, especially small kids) but likes to
look through the window at other cats and yard varmints.  He's an in & out
cat and is very "wary" i.e. stays in the bushes, won't ...
non-surgical spaying?22 Dec 2004 00:50 GMT1
Someone said there was a new procedure that didn't involve surgery.
Is that true?

How far can a cat fall??21 Dec 2004 22:09 GMT17
Does a cat really have 9 lives? I've always believed this to be a
myth.
I just have a question though.  How far can a cat fall before it will
injury or kill itself?
Skittish Cat21 Dec 2004 18:11 GMT9
Just adopted my mother in law's 3 yr old male cat, since granny entered a
nursing home. I've seen skittish cats before, but this is nuts. Or maybe
not, since it's only been here for 36 hours. He's hiding constantly, and as
far as I can tell, is not eating or drinking. He used the ...
REALLY large cat breeds?21 Dec 2004 16:49 GMT26
A co-worker of mine told me today that his friend had a 47-lb

The story of KeeKee (the cat)21 Dec 2004 16:18 GMT1
I posted the pics in alt.binaries.pictures.animals just now.  Sorry the pics
are very good, but you'll get the idea.
I'm sure everyone here has a story similar to this one, but I thought I'd
share it anyway ;-)  I don't write very well, but I hope you enjoy the

Amount of Ringer's Solution for cat with failing kidneys21 Dec 2004 00:08 GMT1
My 13 YO cat is hanging in there but there is a question.  My vet said
to give 150CC of warmed ringers solution every other day under his skin
to help counter balance his failing kidneys.  I think he needs more and
a friend who had a similiar situation gave his cat at least 150CC

Help!  Cat bite!20 Dec 2004 03:29 GMT5
We went to deliver food/gifts to a poor family yesterday living in a motel
near us, and their cat decided to attack and bite my leg, puncturing the
skin through my jeans (!).  It bled only a little, but now I'm wondering if
I should see my doctor tomorrow.  I'm going to try to ...
