Hiccups30 Nov 2004 22:49 GMT2
My cat keeps getting hiccups, about 5 times now in the last month.  They are
so violent that he fell off the sofa the other night.  When they're finished
he looks very strange, goes round smelling everything like it's all new to
him.  Apart from that he seems OK, he is 14 and ...

For Those Who Think Vaccinations Aren't Important30 Nov 2004 01:42 GMT11
We've all gotten a beautiful little kitten that just steals your heart
away and we vow to take good care of him.
He looks healthy and, despite all the veterinary press about
vaccinations, some of us think "My kitten is staying indoors...
free kitten to good home30 Nov 2004 01:29 GMT1
I have an 12-13 week old male kitten. I got him for my fiance for
christmas but unfortunatley our daughter is allergic to this little
guy. We are giving him away to anyone with an open heart and an open
home. He is grey in color. He is very playful, in good health, and he
Littermaid Litter Box29 Nov 2004 07:27 GMT3
Has anyone had any luck in finding a replacement motor for the litter box?
The one I have is out of warranty and when I called Littermaid, they said
that they do not sell internal parts.
Thanks in advance,
how do i discipline my cat29 Nov 2004 06:25 GMT17
I had some chicken wings on the table, with a bit of bleu cheese. I got up
from the table for a bit, and when I came back, the wings and bleu cheese
were on the carpet, minus a couple of wings.  My cat seems to have acquired
a taste for chicken.
Catnip28 Nov 2004 23:39 GMT3
I live in Dallas and have purchased catnip in bulk from Whole Foods.  I went
there the other day and found they no longer sell it.  I found some in bulk at
Central Market but it's not high quality - mostly stems and twigs.  Does anyone
know where I can get some of the good stuff for ...
How do you ever find the truth regarding  good vs. bad diets for your cat?28 Nov 2004 22:40 GMT3
Is there any definitive answer regarding
what is best in cat diets?   It seems to me
that there is such disagreement that the
truth is difficult, if not impossible to

Cinderella, our 7 month old cat, played intensely with the telephone,
sticking her paw under it repeatedly.
At long last daughter suggested that I'd lift up the phone. I did, not
New discovery - my cat likes tea!28 Nov 2004 08:45 GMT5
I already know that she likes hot chocolate because she's always trying to
drink from my cup!  But she goes after my tea as well.  My mother thinks its
because the tea is sweet?
I don't know?

Anyone with a Maine Coon or Norwegian Forest Cat?27 Nov 2004 01:45 GMT3
These are the two breeds I am most interested in. Very similar cats in
terms of appearance and (on paper) personality.  I'm looking for
anyone who actually has one or the other for first-hand feedback
before I take the plunge.  There aren't too many breeders around that
Siberians?27 Nov 2004 01:09 GMT3
I know it's been discussed before, but I'm interested in hearing if
people with cat allergies can really live with Siberian cats.  Many of
the breeder web sites claim this is true.
I am 29 years of age and lived with a cat at home until I went to
bathtime kitty26 Nov 2004 17:56 GMT5
Was having a bath the other day when my kitten came to investigate(he
likes to play in the bath when empty).  He jumped up and walked along
the side and i was sure he would fall in but he didn't, he sniffed the
bubbles and one foot slipped down and touched the bubbles so he ...
New kitten26 Nov 2004 17:23 GMT1
Our new kitten (Surrey) has now taken to hiding behind the oil-fired
cooker.  No problem with that, it's nice and warm for her.  But the
white kitten that goes into hiding emerges as a grey kitten with black
paws and ear-tips.
