Cat food inquiry25 Oct 2004 19:09 GMT6
Hello everyone. I have a 5 year old Siamese who eats Wellness dry food and
canned food at night. He only gets the best (from what my research has shown
me). My question is: Is it necessary to give my cat wet food to balance out
his moisture intake or is that simply a myth? I have ...

was...and cats are having none of  it. Any suggestions please?

Incompetant Nurse?25 Oct 2004 00:27 GMT10
I recently moved, and so I'm seeing a new vet.  So far, this one nurse
is really getting on my nerves.
I brought my cat in and got some medication for a UTI.  She hands me
the box of the antibiotics and a bag of dry medicated cat food.  I had
Kitty can't go24 Oct 2004 20:09 GMT2
My kitten is approx. 3-4 mon. old. I had her on Purina kitten chow and after
awhile she came down with very watery, runny stools. With medicine it got
better, after stopping the meds it came back...the vet says it sounds like a
protein allergy, so I switched her to Purina One Growth ...

Looking for Inspiration, name for male kitten, must begin with T !!!24 Oct 2004 03:49 GMT12
We already have Tigger and Tootsie, and we are bringing a little brother

Update about  Millie23 Oct 2004 17:40 GMT1
Last January I postd to inform you all that my cat had cancer. It was
quite advanced and the vet gave her about 3 months. We used conventional
medicine and homopathic medicine. Because the cat is feisty she
would have to been sedated everytime she had to have her chemo. This

URI in multi-cat household22 Oct 2004 22:15 GMT7
We have a cat, Bear (aka "Typhoid Beary") who came to us 2 years ago
with a URI from the Humane Society. Until then, there had only had
non-sniffly cats in this house.
He has had a couple of outbreaks since then and most of our cats
how to get a cat to use a cat door?22 Oct 2004 22:07 GMT19
Hi, we have two 1½ year old cats with completely different personalities.
Both love our yard and the outdoors. We put in a cat door with a plastic
door that they can open in either direction by pushing against it, so they
can come and go as they please. The one cat had no problem ...
Feline Pine22 Oct 2004 22:03 GMT9
I bought some Feline Pine litter today, and the instructions actually
say you don't need to clean the box for two weeks (other than scooping
out every day.) It says it basically turns to sawdust. It's just hard to
believe anything would work, and be somewhat dry for two weeks.
