train for harness and leash29 Oct 2004 09:46 GMT3
Have gotten harness and leash for a cat that, for me, is an indoor cat, but
very obviously was an outdoor cat before she ended up at the Humane Society
where I got her nearly 3 months ago.  She longs so very much to get outside
so thought I would attempt to train her for outside ...
Help elder cat get into bed29 Oct 2004 08:27 GMT21
I have a 13 year old cat - and while he plays way more than our other 2 he
is beginning to show some signs of getting older.  Particularly he is not
able to jump as well as he use to.  Now, when he jumps into our bed he can't
make the entire way and has to dig his claws in to climb ...
Would the RSPCA rate this as cruelty?29 Oct 2004 02:17 GMT8
My neighbour here in the UK (who I've never liked) has a cat. (I love
cats.)
For the past week, I've been woken up every morning at about 5.00 am
by his cat meowing almost continuously outside, wanting to get inside

Does anyone know how long you can leave it between your cat's first
vaccination jab and the booster?  Is there a limit?
Thanks

I own 8 cats & 2 kittens & need a good litter to use for them. I have
heard Feline Pine is very good. Anyone here use it? Is it very expensive
& how often do you have to change the litter box? With the litter I use
now, I'm changing litter boxes every 3 days. Also, how do I get 2 ...

Training 10yr old to use cat flap..?27 Oct 2004 23:54 GMT4
My cat Missy is 10 years old and I've had her for 2 years. She's always
been allowed outside, usually through the back door in the kitchen, but
this can get cold in the winter, so I finally got around to fitting a cat
flap in the back door last week.
newspaper27 Oct 2004 22:17 GMT2
Henry loves to chase scrunched up newspaper.   We just get a sheet of
newspaper and scrunch it up into a ball and throw it.  Henry loves to chase
it.  Then we bombard him with more, more, more newspaper.  He seems to love
this.   Sometimes he can jump up in teh air and catch the ...
Keeping cat off counter27 Oct 2004 20:46 GMT16
Hello.  I have a 3 yr old cat that loves to jump on the
kitchen counters.  Is there any safe and effective way to train her to stay
off the counter?  She only goes on the counter when no one is in the room.
Thanks

? about litter boxes27 Oct 2004 05:23 GMT9
I moved a few months ago. Before I moved, my two cats, who could come and go
inside or outside, very rarely used the litter box I had for them. When I
moved, I was told by virtually everyone (on this newsgroup and another) that
I ABSOLUTELY HAD to keep them indoors for at least two ...
question about leaving cats alone26 Oct 2004 22:15 GMT4
I have two male cats, age 3.  I am going out of town for 10 days.  I have
someone to come in and check on them, feed them, etc. once a day.  Do you
think they will be all right?  Should I have my sitter come more?  I need
some advice!

Mature kitten suckling26 Oct 2004 16:19 GMT2
My 9 month old cat, Joey has an annoying habit.
When he comes to bed to cuddle, he likes to suck on the quilt as if he hasnt
been weaned.  Its annoying becouse its noisey and the bedcovers end up with
wet spots all over. (which i inevitably end up waking up on)
