Cat stands in bathroom and meows31 Oct 2004 19:32 GMT5
In the last few weeks my five-and-a-half y.o. kitty has taken to
standing in the bathroom and meowing. When I check on her she flips on
her side, purrs and claws playfully at the bathmat, but she won't be
coaxed out, and meows again as soon as I leave (and sometimes starts

spider webs30 Oct 2004 21:15 GMT1
My cat seems to like eating spider webs! At least she does when I get
up in the morning and she is waiting for me to feed her. She'll hang
around the bathroom after I've taken my shower to remind me that she
needs to be fed, and while there pokes her head into all the corners
How Cats view Humans30 Oct 2004 18:34 GMT2
I've heard that cats view us as large cats, rather than themselves as
small humans.
But then, why do they freak out at new, unknown cats, but tolerate
(and even enjoy) the company of new, unknown humans? It would seem
Depressed cat?30 Oct 2004 17:51 GMT6
My mum has had Gizmo for maybe 18 months now, and he is normally a VERY
ENERGETIC cat, always fighting with your hand and playing with its toys,
never stops really.
Last week she introduced a second cat, now 8 weeks old, and at first Gizmo

Hello again,
Tigger, our kitty has designed his own web site!!!  He would be grateful if
you guys could have a peek and tell him what you think!  In a mad flash of
inspiration, he started it at 5am this morning and had it live by 9am.

We took our 7 week old kitten to the VET yesterday to get registered and
have its first checkup (it was previously checked when it lived with its

Our VET used a Flea comb on the kitten and found fleas, she shook the
Cat drinking fountains?30 Oct 2004 00:18 GMT9
I have 2 cats who are both coming up on 15 years old.  The Vet has
suggested that I try to get them to drink more water.  She suggested
possibly getting one of the cat drinking fountains that you see in pet
stores now.  Does anybody have any experience with these?  Do they

cat smacking29 Oct 2004 19:36 GMT7
My sweet kitty Bella is such a lovey kitty.  Every night she sleeps curled
up next to me, but when morning comes she starts what sounds like smacking.
Like she's trying to lick the top of her mouth or something.  She has been
doing this for some time now.  I used to think she was ...
