vaccination25 Sep 2004 04:55 GMT16
I have read that vaccination every year is not good for cats.  So last
year I asked my vet not to vaccinate my cats.  She agreed saying that she
could give them a vaccination every second years instead.  Now I wonder.  Is
a vaccination every second year ok or is it still too ...

why does my  cat do this24 Sep 2004 12:45 GMT4
I have a 10 year old cat who won't let me sit down that she's not in my
lap. If I'm reading the paper in the kitchen in the morning she'll jump
in the chair beside me.  She won't jump into my wife's lap (which hurts
my wife's feelings) unless I'm out of  town.
Feelers on front legs24 Sep 2004 05:47 GMT1
Yes, it is normal and occurs on most cats, even alley cats.

I have a question24 Sep 2004 01:23 GMT10
I have two indoor adult cats. I took them to the vet for their shots and was
told they have flees. So I was given some liquid flee stuff to use and a week
later the flees are back. Is there something else I can use?
 Thanks
Rutherford, at it again!22 Sep 2004 23:12 GMT38
Another update on Rutherford the Brave, the floor-pissing and wall-spraying
cat...
Last night I caught him squatting RIGHT after I cleaned the litter box
(about two hours after) in the 4 foot area that he has destroyed in our
Cat fleas22 Sep 2004 19:18 GMT7
I think one of my cats have fleas.  I guess if one has fleas the other
must have too.  I found some tiny black speck in the fur.  It is easy to see
because my cats are white.  Now I wonder what shall I do.  I will call the
vet tomorrow and I guess she will treat my cats with ...
need a little more Cat Parenting advice...22 Sep 2004 14:54 GMT1
You guys (especially kaeli) have given me such great advice
before...it's all worked, really well. Now we're entering Phase 3, I
guess.
For those who didn't catch it earlier, I'm going through the
air filter recommendation22 Sep 2004 12:23 GMT8
Can anyone recommend a good air cleaner/filter for removing litter box
smell?
Background: I have two cats and one of them refuses to cover her
"deposits" in the box.  I clean the box twice a day and one of the
Simon22 Sep 2004 01:33 GMT1
One of our cats, Simon, discovered he loves donuts. Mostly glazed or sugar.
He will dash into my lap and purr while waiting for a morsel. If I'm not
fast enough to suit him, he will try and knock the donut out of my hand.

Help, other cats hissing at recently spayed kitten21 Sep 2004 06:05 GMT2
I got my kitten Mischief spayed about 6 weeks ago.  She's healed fine and is
back to her old self.  But my 2 older cats have taken to hissing at her and
being very impatient.  Does anyone know what might be causing that?
Behaviour question21 Sep 2004 04:16 GMT12
My cat Bonnie is a happy-go-lucky, content 12 year-old.  There's just
something she does that concerns me a little.
My grandma made me this small, stuffed, crocheted lamb, approx. the same
size as a 3 month-old kitten.  Bonnie has taken possession of this lamb.
Age multiplier for cats?20 Sep 2004 23:28 GMT3
We have two cats, both about 15 years old.  But, I'm wondering what
multiplier one should use to calculate their physiological age.  I've always
heard that the multiplier for dogs is 7 years.  Same for cats?
Thanks,
