I've a cat, about 16 years old. It's an 'inside' cat and only goes out to pee. If there's noone to let it out it goes and does it business inside the house, at 2 spots in particular.

Nutmeg is strictly an indoor cat. For entertainment when nobody's home, we installed a window bird feeder. I was afraid at first that she might go nuts-- flinging herself at the glass etc. But she seems satisfied to watch quietly, like it's Cat TV.
