cat dragging his a.s08 Jul 2004 09:01 GMT4
I adopted a cat from the spca 2 months ago, he's now 6 months old. He's
doing that a.s dragging thing ; sitting down and dragging himself with
his front paws...like he's trying to scratch his ahole.
I've seen many dogs do this but it's the first time I see a cat doing
Litter in Garage08 Jul 2004 03:01 GMT21
We recently discovered a litter of kittens in our garage under a big pile
of cardboard boxes. One of our own cats had had a litter not long before,
oddly enough. We just didn't get her fixed in time. We figured that the
visiting cat had five kittens in her litter, same as ours, ...

The other day I noticed kitty has been getting these red bumps on his

ear infection and ointment question07 Jul 2004 02:42 GMT1
My cat has a bacterial ear infection and the vet gave me some otibiotic
ointment.  I see "For otic use in dogs only" all over the box.  Should I use
this?  I'm sure it's ok but I'd like to hear of any experiences.

Does any one else's cat hate sardines?07 Jul 2004 02:14 GMT9
My cat will eat anything put in front of her except for this.  So now when I'm
buying her food I have to bypass the ones that contain sardines.
It's alright though - I still have a cajillion to choose from!

An Introduction...07 Jul 2004 01:42 GMT4
Hello all. My name is Sam but my on-line pseudonym is Faust. (A long story
goes with it.) I figured I would introduce myself to the news group.
I am the equivalent to the crazy cat lady, except for the fact I am a guy. I
own, 9 cats and 1 dog. Don't feel sorry for the dog, he thinks ...

Traveling via Car With Cat 2K Miles06 Jul 2004 21:00 GMT13
I'm new here and this question probably came up in the past.  However, I
would like some advice.  We are leaving via car from Seattle to Kansas City
in three weeks.  It will be hot along the route (I-90) and down via Sioux
City.  We will also have our small dog with us.  I know ...

In how many countries is microchipping pets compulsory?
So far, I know that it became compulsory in Israel a few years ago for
dogs to be microchipped (not so sure about all cats - the last I heard
was that if they are kept indoors the whole time, they don't have to be

New kitten problems05 Jul 2004 16:23 GMT6
I just add a new kitten to my house. My Older cat is very unhappy about
this. There has been no fights so far but the older cat has withdrawn to the
bed room and hiss and growls at both the kitten and me. The older cat has
never been frendly with the other cats in my building and I ...
