New Kitten Meets Anti Social Older Sibling (Need Advice)16 Jul 2004 19:29 GMT2
Neighbors up the street have basically abandoned a very adorable Calico
kitten (approx. 12 weeks old...named her Tallulah), and I have been taking
care of her (providing shelter and feeding) outside. However, I really want
to bring her indoors on a permanent basis. She has no ...
Micro chips16 Jul 2004 17:56 GMT5
Fox news just had a story about a dog that was missing for many
months, it was reunited when it showed up at their door and was
identified with a microchip.
It is now 2004, how come they still haven't found a solution that
Mudpie picture ... at last15 Jul 2004 21:44 GMT6
Black cats are hard to photograph well, and black cats that have their
'place' under the bed even more so.  Mudpie is almost all black, about
two years and nine months old, and spends his time under the bed, too
close (lap) to photograph, or out of the yard hunting.  Recently he

Cat vomits hairballs15 Jul 2004 00:34 GMT13
Does anyone else own a cat that vomits hairballs?
Mine does.  About once a quarter, usually minutes after consuming dinner, she
will vomit up the contents of her dinner with a nice big clump of cathair.  Is
there any way to prevent cathairs from ending up in her stomach?
Cat only answers when she thinks it necessary.14 Jul 2004 16:51 GMT4
When my cat is outside, and I call her, she shows up.
When she is inside the house, perhaps hidden in a cupboard, she
usually ignores me calling her.
Today, I believed her to be outside, called her name.  No response.  I

Sick cat13 Jul 2004 20:48 GMT12
My grand kids have a big old yellow cat that came from the SPCA pound
several years ago (is probably 5 years old now), who is fed a healthy
diet, stays inside most of the time, gets it shots regularly, etc, etc,
was at one time a "heavy weight", wonderful family pet, but has ...
Male or female stray?13 Jul 2004 19:54 GMT3
Hi all!  I'd like to know if male cats have higher pitched meows and
squeak.  We've been feeding a stray cat that is definitely larger than
our three female cats and by this I mean the stray has longer legs and
tail, a larger head, and bigger paws.  This stray cat has never ...
Cat spraying not urinating in litterbox -- HELP!!13 Jul 2004 19:48 GMT4
I have 2 8 year old female cats (neutered) and have brought both home
together at the same time over 7 years ago. Until recently, all has been
fine litter-box wise. One is a Bombay and the other is a Norwegian
Forest Cat (Missy).
My cats don't keep Kosher13 Jul 2004 09:35 GMT2
And so my husband had to work late on his birthday and miss his own
party at his parents' place. Mama Singh brought the leftovers the next
day, some cake and Indian vegetables and about two pounds of good maple
cured ham.
Expensive Little Critters......13 Jul 2004 09:29 GMT4
My wife and I recently adopted a cat from the local Humane Society and
after a few trips to the vet have come to find that it is more
expensive to get prescriptions and supplies for this tiny little
creature than for our two children. A friend of mine refered me to a
