What's the "wildest" domestic cat?15 Jun 2004 10:55 GMT3
A funny question to be sure. What's the wildest domestic cat breed?
Initially I thought bengals - 50% wild, more or less, as half the
genes seem to be from the Asian spotted leopard.
But now I'm thinking Savannahs, which I understand to be a mix of

While i'm over here, may as well check with y'all to see if i need to
do anything more about Ms Kitty. Past week i notice she shakes her
head like maybe something crawling in her ear/ears. Not scratching,
just violently shaking and looking at me in an accusing manner out of

of each thing cats are.

Cats Playing14 Jun 2004 21:47 GMT1
We got our second cat last February with the thought in the back of our
minds that the first cat would have a companion - but it just didn't seem to
work out. They accepted each other, lived alongside, but that was about it.
Garfield14 Jun 2004 17:32 GMT15
I was just watching Joel Segal's segment on movies on Good Morning America
Did I hear right that a shock collar was used to make a puppy do back flips.
If that's true this move should be boycotted.

I have a 1 year old Bengal cat. He always wants to ruff house with me and
get all worked up. I purposely did not treat him ruff when he was little

Again: Cat Needs to Calm Down A Little14 Jun 2004 11:03 GMT13
Our cat is now 3 months older, yet on occasion she still needs to be calmed
down. I'm writing about effective deterrants.
Like today, I had an umbrella--a large one that was not "out" but "in"(that
is, folded up not in use)--standing up propped near the door and she

That link was furnished earlier by the "J Marz" person who frankly seems to
be a troll, and I surely don't want to feed him. I can promise you I'm not a
"troll" either, just covering this issue as I'm moved to.
Domestic cat language13 Jun 2004 19:32 GMT4
Has there been a recent definitive study on domestic cat language ?
I was wondering whether cats define objects (with meows/tail movement) to
create what we would call words ?  Could the mixture of cat sounds and tail
movement define a simplistic alphabet or perhaps define an ...

I'm just after reading about Scottish Fold cats. They seem to be an
interesting race.
Has anybody in this group got one?

I have a problem with my 2 cats and I hope someone can help. We just moved

room with their boxes, bed and food and slowly move them into another room
then another and eventually into the whole house. We ...
