Making Friends With a Hissing Cat?18 Jun 2004 07:46 GMT10
My mother's caretaker brought a gorgeous non pure bred dark grey Persian into
the house, and it hisses at just about everyone but her when you try and get
near it. She said it was abused when it was younger. Any way to make friends
with this cat so I can at least pet her or pick her ...
Look out!!17 Jun 2004 23:31 GMT2
On Smolkin St in Arnprior a man is baiting traps with something that makes
cats sick. He says cats are digging holes in his flower bed but there is an
easy solution to that, just sprinkle it with garlic flakes that will even
keep out the squirrells that are the real culprits.

We have recently brought a new dog into our home; he is a puppy, just a few
months old. We already have a cat that we have had for over 2 years; she is
just over 2 years old, and has always been a dream to look after, no
problems of any kind at all.

Purina Cat Chow Senior16 Jun 2004 13:54 GMT1
I have been feeding purina cat chow senior to my indoor siamese  for

clear vomit16 Jun 2004 13:21 GMT10
Nearly every other day or so around 5am my cat pukes up something clear
(looks like human spit).  I only have 1 plant in the house and it's out of
reach.  Other than that she is happy and playful all day long.  Any
suggestions?
fighting cats16 Jun 2004 13:17 GMT7

The female has grown up with the male her whole life and I'd always
had the impression that she liked him, even if it wasn't fully
reciprocal - the male is older, 10.5 yrs, female 6. They haven't ever
Cat wanders and irritates distant neighbors16 Jun 2004 12:37 GMT8
Our cat, that we've owned for three years now, loves to wander.  He's very
friendly and follows walkers and walks up to people that are outside in
their yard.
In the last month, we've had two people complain that he's "hanging" out by

My cat doesn't have any teeth now, 11 y/o Himalayan female. She will

She will not touch the sauce if I mix water with the bits to wash off more
Eye boogers in corner of one eye?15 Jun 2004 17:45 GMT5
My long haired domestic kitty, about 3 months old, every day gets eye
boogers in the corner of one or both eyes and I have to wipe them out.
What causes this and how can I stop it?  Is it hurting anything?
