Recommendations for diet foods requested04 Jun 2004 04:16 GMT1
I have six cats (not the original plan, but that's another story), two
of which are overweight. Both are fixed females, one seven or eight
years old, the other about five now. I need to find the right food for
them. I was wondering which of the weight-loss formulas seemed to be
A story of  one  death.04 Jun 2004 03:14 GMT13
I live in a small Ukrainian town. My husband-Armenian had leaved me
when I already was pregnant. I am a yard man. My salary is about $50
per month. My daughter grew up as a very nice girl in spite of our
destitution. When she was sixteen my daughter went on the lake near

Cat claws seem to have snapped03 Jun 2004 21:18 GMT17
I'm looking for a bit of advice please.
My cat came in last week after an hour or so out in the garden.  When he
came in, there was quite a bit of blood on his back paws.  At closer
inspection, I noticed that all but one of his back claws had snapped off, a

Hey James,
I am a latebloomer as I just read your story about your accident and why
you are struggling with regaining your love for cats.  If I were you, I
would probably be in the same position, filled with anger and hate.

I have a female cat who is out in the garden all the time.
I also have weeds along the brickwork at the bottom of my house, as
well as in the garden itself.
Could you please give me some advise as to what weed killer would be
Anyone know of an Applehead Balinese Cattery within 100 miles of Albany NY?03 Jun 2004 10:59 GMT5
Hello fellow Cat Lovers,
Anyone know of an Applehead Balinese Cattery within 100 miles of Albany NY?
I know there is one due to talking to my vet and also meeting with a sweet
young girl at a cat show who had an absolutely gorgeous one of her own.
Help!  My cat is acting strange03 Jun 2004 06:08 GMT4
He's just around a year old.  Today he was panting a lot, but I couldn't get
him to drink any water (he's wierd about water; he only drinks it from a
glass.  I usually have to actually hold the glass in my hand in order for
him to be interested).  Then he went to the litterbox and ...

Litterfree question03 Jun 2004 04:53 GMT11
A petshop near me in Luxembourg Europe went out of business selling
something like the Litterfree cat litter boxes but I seem to remember  them
being made in Belgium.
Does anyone know where I can get hold of these in Europe?
flea treatments03 Jun 2004 04:30 GMT5
I have two cats and I have a problem. I used those Advantage treatments on
my cats as they go outside at times, and one cat did fine but the other one
totally freaked out. Do those treatments hurt the cat's skin?  She ran
wildly around the house for 2 days....it was crazy. I am very ...
This is very urgent for me, please help?03 Jun 2004 04:22 GMT3
Hey everyone,
I have a huge problem, my cats keep getting outside when someone opens
the door and I have to run after them down the street.  It happens on a
daily basis and I am terrified they are going to either run away or get hit
UPDATE: missing litter03 Jun 2004 03:05 GMT2
The neighbor's cat brought her litter home 2 days ago.
She had them up on the roof, under a tree canopy!  We know
because she brought them down one by one.   Four cute kittens!
We would like to adopt one when they are weaned, but how to introduce it
