Neutered male keeps jumping on 8 week old kitten30 Jun 2004 22:10 GMT1
I cant keep my 12-year old neutered male cat off my new female kitten.
He is 14 lbs and she is only 1 pound. He keeps grabbing her around the
neck and purring the mating meow. He was neutered when he was 4 months
old and he cant know what he is doing, but the new kitten brings it
cats in trees30 Jun 2004 17:48 GMT4
I just moved to a new house. My cats are indoor/outdoor cats. Two days ago
the boy climbed a tree in the front where the lowest braches are around 20
feet up. He scaled himself back down when I called him. This morning, our
female was up there and she could not get herself down. ...

I have just given my cat synulox drops as perscribed by the vet, 1.25 ml
straight from the bottle, it has caused him to salivate quite badly and has
caused him some distress, does this mean he has had an allergic reaction?

Cheetah vs Timberwolf30 Jun 2004 00:51 GMT5
Ok, I need you're help weighing in on this important issue.  My friend Nate
and I have been arguing about this for quite some time now.  Who do you
think would win in a fight, a cheetah or a timberwolf?
shelf life of cat food29 Jun 2004 23:21 GMT6
I ordered a bunch of cat food on sale.
Friskies for 25 cents a can. I'm wondering
how long it can sit in a warm garage or
a refrigerated house without going bad.
Women and cats29 Jun 2004 05:21 GMT124
Why is it that cats generally make better pets for women, where
dogs usually make better pets for men? Of course, there are
always exceptions.

Cats eating fish (tuna)29 Jun 2004 01:14 GMT14
I saw something on Petsburgh USA on the Animal Planet about how it is not
good for cats to eat red fish like salmon & tuna.  That it can cause
disease.  Does anyone have any more info on this?  Anyone know if this is
true or false?
Blood in feces28 Jun 2004 07:45 GMT3
Our seven year old male Ocecat Rudy now and then has blood in his bowel
movement. This is not a constant thing. Nor does he show any other symptoms.
He is active, affectionate, maintains his weight and appetite and shows no
signs of illness.
Less Trauma - vacation time27 Jun 2004 21:47 GMT1
We have 2 senior kitties.  When we leave our "girls" for vacation, we pay a
cat sitter to come in 2 times a day to feed them, etc.  Our vet's office has
several vet students in training who need the extra money.  There's one
there we usually try to hire.  She has treated our cats at ...

Last month I moved from Las Vegas to my father's house in New Jersey. Along
with me came my 1 year cat Baby (might have to change her name now....) At
my father's house they have 3 cats, Nai-Han (siamese), U2 (DSH), and
Sparticus (DSH). When I moved in I was under the impression ...

I have owned a most wonderful gray tabby for almost 4 years. I wanted a feline companion, but I got even more. This cat was at a
shelter when I found her. She had 7 days left. They said she was found wandering in the street with just a pink collar on her. It is
strange how I picked ...
Cats and flea treatment question27 Jun 2004 06:47 GMT5
I treat my cats (Which are strictly indoors) with Advantage flea meds
during the summer months but not during the winter months..  I figured
once it got cold it would kill off any fleas I might pick up and bring
in from outdoors.  My ex and in-laws do the same and theirs are all
