We have two cats (One Tonkinese called Quincy and a Moggy called Billy).
However, due to my Mum moving to an apartment, we've inherited my Dad's
moggy Charlie [My Dad died a year ago]. He's a fairly independent cat,
always done his own thing, but used to follow my Dad around and ...

I am a 40 year old guy who just suffers total heart-meltdown whenever I see
a cat. I can't walk past one without wanting to be friends. I am fond of
other animals too, but the sight of a cat has a very profound effect on me.
I realise that humans and cats (and other animals too) ...

Pooping beside litter box ARGH!11 Apr 2004 05:11 GMT6
So, my wife has about had it, and I can't blame her.
Our neutered male cat squatted inside the litterbox to pee, but managed
to get it outside the box about 1/2 the time.  So, I went out and found a
bin with higher walls than his old litter box, but it occupies a little
Re-covering a scratching post?11 Apr 2004 01:27 GMT11
Hi, does anyone have any advice on re-covering a scratching post? My cats

carpet, a slanted post covered in sisal, and a curved part on top they can
lie in. I don't want to get them another post because a.) ...
cat losing fur!11 Apr 2004 00:32 GMT4
Our cat keeps on losing his fur. This is really annoying for a home.
His fur found on everybody's pants and t-shirts and everywhere in
our rooms. I have no idea if this could be in normal condition for a
cat. BTW, he looks quite healthy.
Neutering Question10 Apr 2004 17:04 GMT27
My cat is approaching the 5 month mark , is it too early for the snip?
Last time he was in at the vet she said his testes were fully decended and
in a month ( now) it would probably be time.
Also are there any detriments to waiting a month or so? Once bad
Himalayan10 Apr 2004 09:42 GMT6
I'm so very sorry about the spelling and since the spelling is so critical
in the breeding of cats I suppose I'll stop all breeding and get rid of my
cats.  Thank you for the info.  I'm glad I did not go on spelling that
wrong.

When cat was picked up, both vest presented bills for $1200.  The 1st one
Mother carries newborn around10 Apr 2004 07:29 GMT5
Anyone know why a mother cat would carry a new born around? It is from a
litter of four, and appears to be the same kitten. The mother cat walks
around with it in her moth as if to find a place to hide it. The kitten does
not appear to be sickly.

Help!Cat has Loose Stool & Vomitting10 Apr 2004 06:38 GMT5
My 7 month old kitten has thrown up about 5-6 times since last night, and
has developed a very loose stool.  I will be taking her to the vet in the
morning, since my vet is closed today.  I was wondering if there is anything
I can do to help her out until morning.  Any advise would ...
Cat Acne10 Apr 2004 02:58 GMT12
My cat has acne near his whiskers on both sides of his face.  When I took
him to the vet one year ago for this they gave him a shot.
A year before that another vet said it was the food bowl. He eats from a
porcelain or steel dish. I wash his food and water bowl daily with hot water
