Cat Skin Colour... ?29 Apr 2004 20:39 GMT4
What colour are cats' skins?
The reason I ask is I've noticed one of the 'boys' under the fur seems
to be piebald, white & dark brown. His littermate (very similar looking)
is pure white underneath. Just in case, is there a skin disease on cats
Are the cats pets or are we the pets?29 Apr 2004 17:46 GMT5
As a longtime cat owner I must admit that humans are the pets of the
cats.
I think cats like to have a human as pet, the human is pretty useful
for them, cleans the house and brings in food, for example.
cat shows29 Apr 2004 14:59 GMT41
Just wondering what the general consensus was on cat shows? I ask
because I attended one the other day and was quite upset at seeing
distressed, miserable cats kept in 2ft cages for hours, with hundreds
of strangers (me included!) milling around staring and cooing at them
Cat haters29 Apr 2004 14:45 GMT28
One thing that I really can’t stand, is otherwise perfectly
normal people proudly informing me that they hate cats.   Am I
supposed to be impressed?   If you ask these people why, they will
tell you that cats are stupid.   These are the same people who like

Cats on the flight.29 Apr 2004 05:12 GMT9
I had my little kitty on the flight with a small
cessna. When we hit 20000 feet, the poor kitty
started to cough, and then she started to barf
and fart.
The flaw of this automatic feeder...29 Apr 2004 00:42 GMT4
You could do that, but the battery compartment, as well as the on-off
button is on the bottom of the unit, so it couldn't be a permanent attachment.
I also need to put something on top of the lids to keep kitty from scratching
them to get at the food.
Not just for XMAS!28 Apr 2004 23:46 GMT31
I received a lovely little black & white kitten for Christmas,
and at the time I really loved her, and took care of her.
Unfortunately, now that it's grown up and has started to maul my
furniture, stink the place out, and cost a fortune to feed, I

homes for strays?28 Apr 2004 22:38 GMT50
I've been feeding 10-12 stray cats for a couple yrs in a residential
neighborhood in Central Florida.  The neighborhood management has decided
to catch the cats and turn them into the local animal shelter (where they
kill them in 5 days if no adoption).  They're outdoor cats but not

new litter28 Apr 2004 18:28 GMT5
We've all been anticipating the birth of our neighbor's kittens.  But seems
to have had them over the weekend but we don't know where she had them (not
in our neighbor's house, obviously).  Will she eventually produce them once
she feels "ready"?
