Are Hartz Flea Drops Anygood???14 Mar 2004 23:18 GMT7
The warm weather will soon be coming and flea and tick season will be
upon us once again. I am the proud owner of 2 one year old cats ( 1
male, 1 female ). Last year, I adopted the 2 cats who are brother and
sister and who were left as strays in a cardboard box on a boating dock.
a question14 Mar 2004 23:17 GMT6
Not long ago my moms cat, Bear, attacked her. She said she was opening
her front door and there was another cat outside that she'd never seen
before and as she was shutting the door Bear attacked her leg. She
said he clawed her over and over and bit her several times before he

We took on a rescue cat - a Persian last year.
She is a nice animal but it is almost impossible to groom her as she
hasn't been used to being brushed.
Its an ordeal trying to do it.

it would be appropriate in, PLEASE let me know.

Does anyone have a serval for a housecat?14 Mar 2004 16:00 GMT9
I haven't seen this topic covered for quite a while. I was wondering
if there were any educated people who have had experience with regard
to owning an African Serval, as a pet. I am not interested in hearing
the garbage from people who have no experience with owning a serval,
Bonnie is a regular cat14 Mar 2004 04:56 GMT44
Bonnie the feral has slowly become a normal cat. She was trapped last May
and in this time she's been interesting to watch "come around".  She
started off her tamed-self by gathering in the kitchen at mealtime with my

Feline distemper shots - making cats throw up13 Mar 2004 07:24 GMT11
Do indoor cats really need annual feline distemper shots?  We just got
our notice today that both of our cats are due for their annual
chekups and FD shots and we don't want them to get the shots this year
because in previous years it has made them throw up.  Nothing like
Diabetes???13 Mar 2004 00:02 GMT9
Finally got Toast's "biopsy" back and the vet seems to think she has
diabetes.  She had high steriod levels in her liver which is either caused
by the animal being on steriods (which we don't believe she was) or by
diabetes.
Bathing Cats??12 Mar 2004 17:28 GMT30
What are people's views on bathing cats? Are they ok just bathing themselves
or do they need
a proper bath sometimes to get rid of accumulated dirt under all that fur?
Mine seem to have dandruff
