Giving the cat a tablet31 Mar 2004 05:53 GMT25
There's a very funny story in the net about giving the cat a pill - the
owner ends up in hospital, and his garden shed is completely destroyed.

until the cat swallows - and then I find the tablet on the floor. ...
Cats rule!31 Mar 2004 05:42 GMT72
I grew up in a cat family.  My parents say we did have a dog until I

We recently adopted a formerly feral kitten (4 months old) from a local

and hid in corners and under stuff.  But as he got used to us and we hand
feed it wet food it has made some progress.  Right now he will ...

I am desperetly looking for methods to deter a stray cat from coming near my

to no avail.  In fact, he (I believe the sex is male) didn't run away when
Wellness Exams for Older Cats  30 Mar 2004 14:20 GMT2
Wellness Exams for Older Cats
Advancing age signals the need for more frequent check-ups to the veterinarian to catch
signs of disease early so treatment can begin when it's more cost-effective and easier for
the cat. Twice-a-year wellness examinations are often recommended for ...
Dangerous House Plants 30 Mar 2004 06:18 GMT3
Dangerous House Plants
Although we think of cats as carnivores, in fac,t many are fond of vegetables and other
plant material. Although food preferences vary with individual cats, many will sample a
plot of grass outdoors, the leaves of a potted houseplant indoors, or other common ...

if it eats pre packaged cat food, that contains any kind of watery sauce -
