15" Plush Cat Lounger15 Feb 2004 23:27 GMT4
I can relate to that statement.  My cat has ignored some of the
things I have brought home, but this round pet bed she took to the same
day.
Pardon my ignorance, but what is a Prego?  Is that a name or a breed?
vocalizing at play15 Feb 2004 19:44 GMT3
One of our cats vocalizes (loudly at times) while playing with his toys.
This is cute most of the time, but since cats can be occasionally nocturnal,
it isn't cute at 3:15am.
I was just curious what instinct or inheritance brings this on. I haven't

British Shorthair and getting one from the UK...15 Feb 2004 15:34 GMT1
I don't know if this is stupid question or not, but me and my wife are looking to get a blue British shorthair, but we want one from Britain, is there a breeder that imports them, and what could the price be to get one?  Just a curiosity question.
Just crazy15 Feb 2004 15:29 GMT6
Because of you crazy lot in this newsgroup I might be getting a second cat
as a companion for Micky and myself. :-) You keep saying that two cats are
better than one, don't you?
OK I'm crazy too. There was a female in the paper today, a tux like Micky,
cat losing fur!15 Feb 2004 14:30 GMT7
Our cat keeps on losing his fur. This is really annoying for a home.
His fur found on everybody's pants and t-shirts and everywhere in
our rooms. I have no idea if this could be in normal condition for a
cat. BTW, he looks quite healthy.
A cat's displeasure ?15 Feb 2004 05:37 GMT7
We have an eight year old cat who has recently decided to start leaving
'little surprises' on the carpet for us. Now normally this behaviour is
associated with my wife and I going on vacation, the cat sees the luggage,
knows that means we are going somewhere and then she ...

I have a Tortie Point Siamese who is pretty as a picture, but exhibits some
interesting behavior.
She will walk into the room, meowing, looking at me and rubs up against my
leg, the chair, the desk, etc., but when I reach down to pet her she will

These fountains you all mention14 Feb 2004 05:10 GMT6
A friend gave us a little indoor garden fountain for the holidays. You
know the kind, it has several tiers and it comes with smooth stones
that you place on the different tiers so the water flows over it.
My cat, Rexie, of course loves it.  Fresh water all the time, and
Taking a bath...14 Feb 2004 04:02 GMT1
I think its kind of cute the way my cat will go in the bathroom to take her
bath.  (Not in the bathtub) but she'll get on the rug by the bathtub and take
her bath there.  I guess she figures that if everyone else takes their bath
there then why shouldn't she?
cat urinating all over the place?14 Feb 2004 03:41 GMT16
My mom's young female, Soraya, is perhaps acting out.
She knows where the litterbox is, but she's been urinating on the easychair,
and in the front hall frequently as of late.  Could this be a territorial
issue?  She appears highly jealous when the other cats are with or near mom.
