Our local paper has recently done several articles on the subject of "Animal Hoarding" after two obvious cases of it and one puppy/kitten mill that was shut down. The most disturbing thing about this article is that 17 of her 19 cats were killed "because of illness or space

| Update - Mickey and Mooch | 20 Feb 2004 14:44 GMT | 5 |
Mickey, the cat from across the road seems to have moved in for real: he has become a lap and bed cat. He seems to have retired from mousing to just lie around as a house cat. It was beautiful outside today - almost room temperature though there is still some ice around

So I'm sitting here at the 'puter this sunny Saturday, listening to the live broadcast of Rigoletto from the Met. It's Act III when Cat-Boy saunters into the computer room and launches himself into my lap, settling in upside down so I can rub his tummy. He always does
