have been watching over her thank God.
My ex works with a woman whose husband volunteers at the shelter.  ...

will my cats be at risk?24 Feb 2004 21:22 GMT3
I have a cat lady friend who persists in "rescuing" feral cats,
not nice, healthy kittens but sick older ones with coughs and
pussy eyes. She locks them in a room in her house and drags them back
and forth to the vet in her car.  My question is, if a ride with her

After having a cat neutered, how long is it safe to keep him isolated from the
ladies before releasing him.  Thanks for any and all replies, preferably those

Befriending a feral kitty24 Feb 2004 09:08 GMT21
We've been trying since last spring to get a feral kitty who's been
hanging around, to come in the house, so we could try to adopt it, as we
did to our other 9 babies. He comes in and eats a few times a day,
through the pet door, but then runs if you get near him. Two nights ago
Understanding what pets say24 Feb 2004 06:01 GMT31
Pets seem surprisingly intelligent.  Mine seems to have learned the
meaning of certain words and/or phrases.  Like when I say "Ready to eat?",
my normally quiet kitty (Russian Blue) will become very vocal.  What words
or commands does your pet understand?

My cat stopped pee-ing?23 Feb 2004 18:45 GMT1
My baby is totally behaving normally.  I'm surprised no one suggested
that she might be teaching herself to pee in the toilet (I always put the
lid down so that isn't it), or that she might be peeing in the sink (but
then I might notice the smell?).
Laser toy23 Feb 2004 17:47 GMT2
I recently got one of those laser-pointer toys for my kitty and she
just loves it!  I'll shine the dot around the floor and walls and
she goes wild.  It has a key chain attached to it and no matter how
quietly I try to pick it up she can hear it and recognizes the
What's wrong with my cat?23 Feb 2004 12:28 GMT4
I'm in serious need of advice and help.
Half a year ago my cat was fine. He was beautiful, healthy, talkative,
and loved to play and to be held.
Now he's always hungry and vomits up all the food he eats.
