I want to buy a pet. I'm looking for a large cat and one that is very
affectionate. I want a cat that wants to be petted, preferrably wants to sit
in my lap and sleep in my bed. One that purrs loudly and is big and warm. It
has to use the litter box because I want it to be an indoor ...

My cat Binky is going to be 10 yrs old in April.

urinary tract infection which cleared up well.
Over the past month or two he has lost a LOT of weight.
My cat (male) has a urinary problem.29 Feb 2004 18:01 GMT5
My cat (male) has a urinary problem. This is the third time it happens, and
back to the antibiotic until he is good! Vet. says it's common in cats, but,
how can I make him good? Is there a way to prevent it from happening?
Thank you very much.

Lumps in hair and bald spots28 Feb 2004 13:09 GMT5
All,
I just found this group and haven't had a chance to view all the posts. But I have a question.
My cat seems to have developed a hair condition where he gets fairly dense clumps of hair on his
hind quarter. I've also noticed that there are a few areas near his rump that are ...

There is a female cat who I have been feeding for a while and she does not

Cat is peeing outside box27 Feb 2004 07:41 GMT5
I have a 14 year old female cat that has just started peeing outside
the box on a regular basis.  Prior to a week ago, it would happen a
few times a month, but now it's essentially a daily problem.  There
are no other changes in her eating habits or behavior.  I clean the

I don't have a cat but one of my neighbor's cats (female) comes over
and visits every day, sometimes for many hours.  We spend a lot of
time together and she is adorable.  Then she goes home and comes back
either later or the next day.
Fancy Feast 26 Feb 2004 21:42 GMT22
Hi
Could anyone tell me where I can buy this on the internet.  I have been to a few sites, but they don't ship internationally (UK).  I was on the actual Fancy Feast website and my cats would love all these different flavours.  If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it.  ...

http://web.ukonline.co.uk/frances.peace/heloise.htm and I'd appreciate

will my cats be at risk?25 Feb 2004 20:23 GMT3
I have a cat lady friend who persists in "rescuing" feral cats,
not nice, healthy kittens but sick older ones with coughs and
pussy eyes. She locks them in a room in her house and drags them back
and forth to the vet in her car.  My question is, if a ride with her
My cat stopped pee-ing?25 Feb 2004 12:58 GMT1
I heard her scratching the carpet today and realized she was peeing
near the back of stereo equipment on top of some speaker cables.
I knew she couldn't be holding her pee for 6 days and still act
normal.
