Soggy cats and the Third World War.13 Jan 2004 12:43 GMT2
Well it's typical winter in the UK, so that means lots of rain, all at
once and the road outside is a river. Worse still, the porch has a
floating cat basket in it. This means I have to go outside with a towel,
net the outside cat Dirac, and drag his soggy wet carcass inside. He

Explanation to all13 Jan 2004 00:17 GMT13
I just wanted to let you all know that I am now where I should have
been my entire life.
The nice doctors here haven't mistreated me yet, so I haven't had to
write any abuse citations on them or the staff here.
Take a moment - *sad*12 Jan 2004 23:23 GMT9
So tonight had been going as usual. I was watching ER, breaking up cat
fights (started, I might add, by licking). :) Then my best friend called me
in hysterics. Her cat, Tobey, has died. He was only 8 years old and I had
known him for most of those years. He was one of the ...
Does your cat "stink"?12 Jan 2004 21:10 GMT5
Does your cat "stink"?
I've had mine since August, and have never had to bathe her during that time
(thank goodness).  She smells better now than the day I brought her home.  It's
nice that cats take care of themselves, but I was wondering if anyone had a cat
Ear still12 Jan 2004 19:39 GMT6
Micky came home with two small but deep scars on his ear. It looks like he
got hit by another cat, they could be scratches from claws.
The ear turned red and hot, I guess infected. I put some cream on. Now
everything has healed, but - the hair has gone on about a third of the ear.

Looking for thoughts on microchip ID.....12 Jan 2004 17:37 GMT10
I have a kitten who is going to be spayed in a few weeks and the clinic
offers microchipping ID.
She is a completely indoor cat (as are my other two) so not sure if its
worth it. But I know that there is always a possibility of her sneaking
Litter mats12 Jan 2004 13:11 GMT4
I have three cats and two litter boxes. The litter boxes are the
high-sided and enclosed kind because one of the cats is such an
enthusiastic digger, she flings litter all over the place. The newest
cat is a walking furball with tufts of fur between his toes. This seems
Jealous Cat12 Jan 2004 07:19 GMT15
I have a six-year old male cat that I've had about six years.  I adopted him
from my neighbors when they moved out of state.  He was already declawed when I
got him.  Last week I spoted a car stop near the alley nearby my apt. and
opened the door and discarded a little kitty cat and ...
Cat had to be put down12 Jan 2004 05:26 GMT7
I have a friend who said they had to put down there 10 month old male cat,
because he had a parasite.  I don't agree with what she did.  I was
wondering if anyone here knows of a parasite that would lead to having to
put the cat to sleep.
