Pet Insurance Works!17 Jan 2004 15:01 GMT6
A month or so ago Isis fell down some steps and conked her head. She had
some seizures immediately thereafter.
All is well and the seizures were temporary and a result of the fall. She
had an exam, a blood workup, and x-rays as well as drugs.

so i followed. she took it into the pub next door to where i live through
a broken window and into a store room. this area is easily accessible to

kittens and Christmas trees.17 Jan 2004 00:54 GMT8
We have a fake tree, plastic baubles, no tinsel and mini-lights only
plugged in when we are in the room.  Maximus is using the thing like
monkey bars!  While it is fun to watch and does not seem to pose any
safety issues, he is going to bring the whole tree down!  Is there any
Recent Cat Problems16 Jan 2004 19:27 GMT2
Over the past 1.5 weeks, one of our two cats had defecated 3 times in the
house, and not in the litter box.  one cat is 14 years old, one is 8.  The
first time was in the middle of one of our dog beds, and now twice in two
nights in the middle of our dining room table on our ...
Touching paws is a no-no16 Jan 2004 15:12 GMT2
Oneof my Babies, Brandy, a five year old tabby, does not like her paws
touched. She loves her petting, and comes looking for it regularly. But
if I try to touch her paws, she snaps and bites. She's always been like
this. Anyone else have a kitty who doesn't like her paws touched?
cat vaccination reaction question15 Jan 2004 23:18 GMT2
Is it pretty common for a normally affectionate and energetic cat to be a
little lethargic and less interested in affection over 24 hours after
getting a distemper shot?
Cats and Dogs 15 Jan 2004 23:01 GMT29
What do they taste like. I've never knowingly eaten either but I would not
be adverse to trying Cat or Dog. My brother in law has eaten Dog on numerous
occasions as he's Vietnamese, in fact dog would be one of the dishes that he
would eat at Christmas.
Ringworm question15 Jan 2004 21:13 GMT9
Well, my husband has just come down with ringworm -- but neither of my two
strictly indoor cats seem to have it!  One of my cats had it when I rescued
him over 5 years ago, but he was quickly cured.  Since there is no way my
cats could have gotten outside (we live in an apartment in ...
need advice15 Jan 2004 17:15 GMT10
We recently adopted a very sweet cat from our local no-kill shelter. He gets
along fine with all the other cats except one. Maurice has always been very
gentle until we brought YooHoo home. He attacks the new guy. All our fixed
so that isn't a problem.
Psycho cats15 Jan 2004 06:10 GMT2
Okay, so I have two problems, both related, hopefully both can be taken care
of with the same solution.
Problem one: I have five cats - one male, four females, all 'fixed'. The
male, Boo, has decided to make it his goal in life to torment the girls.
A Grooming Question15 Jan 2004 00:38 GMT2
I have never been in the habit of grooming my cats.  They are short haired, and
they groom each other.  However, I've read on so many boards how important it
is to groom your cats often.  So, I've been trying to be more attentive.  I
have one question which I'm sure someone here can ...
Cat Shot New Year's Eve14 Jan 2004 22:31 GMT10
My mum told me tonight that someone shot my grandma's cat on New Year's Eve
:(  It was shot in the leg and came home bleeding and with it's leg all torn
up.  My grandma took it to the vet and they cleaned up his leg and bandaged
it.  They are waiting to see how well it heals before ...
Post Sterilisation Hernia14 Jan 2004 20:22 GMT2
Bodecia age 1yr was neutered yesterday.  The vet had to go through the
front, as poor kitty was deemed to chubby for usual access from the side.
She was sent home with a hernia showing. Is this normal?!! What are your
views please.
Musical beds? Why does my cat keep migrating?14 Jan 2004 18:55 GMT4
Here's an appeal I put to this newsgroup in June 2003:
"My friend (who has since moved away), had some kind of cat bed on his
kitchen window(inside the house), sort of an extension on the window
sill, that was some kind of sheepskin."
