A Grooming Question24 Jan 2004 03:04 GMT3
I have never been in the habit of grooming my cats.  They are short haired, and
they groom each other.  However, I've read on so many boards how important it
is to groom your cats often.  So, I've been trying to be more attentive.  I
have one question which I'm sure someone here can ...
Help with Window Perch24 Jan 2004 00:39 GMT4
I am looking for a window perch for my cat. I've seen several in the stores
but I'm wondering if anyone can highlight good or bad points or good models
to look at. My windows are nothing unique, some standard double hungs. I
would like to get a window perch that preferrably does not ...
What toy to buy23 Jan 2004 23:56 GMT7
Next week is Mickey & Daisy's first birthday.  (link to photos below). So, I'd
like to get them something and I was wondering if anyone has any ideas.  I live
in a small studio apartment, and they already have several small rubber bouncy
things which they like.  The have a scratchy ...
sneezing cat23 Jan 2004 23:04 GMT2
One of my cats starting sneezing yesterday.  I'm trying to figure out
what's different around the house that might be causing this but nothing
comes to mind.  I figured I'd wait over the weekend and see if it
continues before I take him to the vet.  Otherwise he seems ok.
No more vaccines for Sabrina23 Jan 2004 21:59 GMT3
Took Sabrina in for her annual and to renew rabies/vaccines and when
the Vet came in, it dawned on her who Sabrina was and because of the
type of cancer removed, she's hesitant to vaccinate.
Sabrina is purely an indoor cat, although we do have the dog who is up
Need some help with cats and dogs.......23 Jan 2004 21:27 GMT28
Here's the story without most of the gory details:  I had to take care of
mother for 3 months each night as she was passing away, and, god bless her,
unfortunately I went completely bankrupt doing it finding that I couldn't
work every night with mother than stay awake and work the ...

Well, about a week ago, we went to the SPCA and picked up a kitten, cute wee
thing was about 8 weeks old. Obviously 9 weeks old now, hes a playful wee

El Gato Gordo23 Jan 2004 18:11 GMT3
Zero is a 5 yo orange tabby who weighs 22 lbs, he really doesn't eat that
much so I figure he needs more exercise.  I am moving to a much larger apt
so he should be able to burn off more of the Fancy Feast (no human food for
this fatcat). He is an inside cat, but at least in the new ...
POLL: Where does your cat sleep?23 Jan 2004 16:45 GMT35

she sleeps on the couch.  She has access to the entire place, but sometimes
choose not to share body heat w/ me.
Making money selling purebreeds?23 Jan 2004 16:22 GMT9
What purebreed cat fetches the highest price? I am interested in breeding
them and making extra money on the side. I heard some breeds sell for 2000
dollars! is this true and if it is what breed is it?
struvite crystals and multiple cats23 Jan 2004 14:14 GMT4
I am new to this group so if I'm hitting on a subject that has been
discussed to death, I apologize.  I'm really writing for a friend who
is pulling her hair out over a urinary problem with one of her cats.
She has a neutered male and a spayed female.  The female is no
Hard vs. soft food23 Jan 2004 13:55 GMT9
I am hoping that you remembered my post!  Tigger could not keep food down
very well!  I just wanted to update all of you, because you were so kind as
to respond with all kinds of suggestions for him.
I have switched to soft food.  And it is shaped so that he can easily

the other side of the street.
Now there is a new tom, and he seems to have very strange ears. they
Bath problem solved!23 Jan 2004 02:42 GMT1
Isis, my long-haired Tabby, detests baths. If I attempted to bathe her I
would end up with multiple lacerations and shredded flesh.
However, she requires a bath every so often because she gets nats on her
flanks, gets oily and dirty, and eventually starts gakking up little

I would like to get some advice. I have a pet store along with my wife.
Recently we started helping the local animal shelter adopt out kittens. They
just sent us two kittens that are very scared (We have  been told that they
were abused) We know that it will take some time and lots ...
