We are getting another cat, since the death of Biggles

We are shopping for a Maine Coon.
I would like to have a go at making some cat furniture and am trying to
Broken Leg?07 Jan 2004 00:50 GMT10
I have a 2-yr-old cat with a problem that concerns me. A bit of background
first; he is one of two cats (brothers) that came here as strays and we
tamed. They live outside in the daytime but we let them sleep in a warm shed
at night (on cold nights), and I often let them sleep in ...

Call it what it is: killed NOT euthanized06 Jan 2004 22:38 GMT51
I attended a presentation about stopping the killing of cats (and dogs) in
animal control facilities. He emphasised that you euthanize an animal that
is SICK. What is happening in shelters all over is they are KILLING
perfectly fine animals because they are unwanted, often due to ...

One of my cats tabby is eleven years old. Just recently when she is on
my lap having her cuddles, she has started dribbling terribly. I have
had to resort to putting a towel on my lap when she is being loved.
why is she doing this?  could she have had a stroke?
Problem Male Cat-HELP!06 Jan 2004 14:11 GMT6
Hi Folks.  Need some help/advice here. We have had our male neutered cat,
Tommy for 5 years. He was a stray we adopted to keep our other male company.
Tommy is a large alpha tabby who hates and terrorizes the other cat and
fights with any cat that comes in his yard. We have had to ...
kitty won't shut up06 Jan 2004 09:59 GMT10
My cat keeps up a running monologue, "roaw roaw roaw", whenever nobody is paying
attention to him. Is this a correctable behavior problem, or "just one of those
things"?
Mr. Consideration06 Jan 2004 09:06 GMT7
I have this wonderful and very intelligent three year old male cat named
Marco, who I have talked about before here.  Marco throws up often (like
maybe 2ce or 3ce a month).  He has done so for a long time and it bothers
me some, but the vet says not to worry.  My other cat never ...
Litter cost reduction??06 Jan 2004 07:53 GMT6
I've been using the World's Best Litter for our two cats.  It is made
up of corn.  It works great and is much better at odor control when
compared to the standard, premium, clay litter.
unfortunately, it is expensive.  The best price I've found was at the

electric kitty cat06 Jan 2004 03:25 GMT4
Hey y'all. My cat has recently become electrically charged. What i mean by
that is she shocks me a lot when i'm petting her now, a bit like what
happens when you walk across the carpet in heavy wool socks. Static
electricity builds up and you can end up giving yourself quite a shock ...
Cat Bite06 Jan 2004 01:02 GMT13
I took my cat to the vet today for her distemper shot and in the
process, she bit me hard on the area where the joint is just below my
thumb.  I felt her teeth go to the bone, and the vet said it was very
deep and I should go over to the walk-in clinic because bites in that
Leather mishap05 Jan 2004 19:30 GMT17
Well, I'm at a loss.   BF is in a total tizzy.    Sabrina was laying on the
couch today and must have gotten up in a startle of some sort as she left
behind 6 really bad scratches and holes in our new leather couches (less
than 1 yr old and not even paid for yet).   BF is in a ...
Bengal question05 Jan 2004 08:56 GMT2
So there have been a few topics that mention Bengals and as I don't know
that much about them, I did some research. I found the info below explaining
the "F" classification but it raised a question that maybe someone has an
answer to.
