and a very lovely cat.
We also have Puss, who has been around for 3 years.. When we first got Algae
she was hissing and growling at everything in site. This was okay because it
The myth of the Siamese cat?16 Dec 2003 01:24 GMT20
Every time I visit my local shelter, the purebred I see the most by
far is the Siamese cat.  I have my suspicions as to why they seem to be
available in abundance.  I read they have a reputation for mischief and
trouble.  So a lot of them must be getting turned in because ...

Now I´m Mr. Willy-less !

No I´m a Eunuch !
The myth of the Siamese cat?15 Dec 2003 01:47 GMT1
So then what breed is the cat, Bucky Katt, featured in the comic
strip "Get Fuzzy"?  I just assumed he was Siamese because of their
reputation for trouble, and apparently wild ideas.

cats & dogs14 Dec 2003 01:31 GMT1
Ted you have not mentioned them for a while:
How are your cats and dogs getting on?
Do the cats accept them at all?
And have you become more of a dog person in the meantime?

As asked before, here are some pictures of our latest kitten, Dexter. He
went to the vet today and aside from the fleas and a few ear mites, got a
clean bill of health.

sick of cat poo in my front garden13 Dec 2003 18:46 GMT8
Can any body tell me how I can prevent my neighbour's cats pooing in my
front garden, they always do it at the same place. I am so sick of it,
though I am an animal lover.
Male cats biting13 Dec 2003 13:29 GMT4
We have our second male cat. This one and the other male we had before bite
quite a bit, only playfully though, but hard enough.
Before we owned two female cats. They never used their teeth when playing.
Is biting a characteristic of male cats? I mean they bite females too when
Suggestions re: cross country move w/cat13 Dec 2003 07:59 GMT5
In mid April 2004, I will be moving from Oregon to Central New York.
It looks like I have two options:
1. Have my household items moved via a cross country moving company.
Then drive my '97 Jeep Wrangler (I hope it makes it) across the
Burmese Cats12 Dec 2003 21:34 GMT4
Twenty-five years ago bought a sable burmese cat (from a less than
reputable dealer - but that's another story).  Never-the-less, the cat
proved to be wonderful, very good with my young children and very well
behaved.
Tortie Update212 Dec 2003 20:48 GMT5
Tortie is recovering, but having trouble accepting the new diet that is
supposed to dissolve the crystals. I know he will survive, but unless he
gets over being so stubborn, he will probably be a very skinny cat.

her behavior and I don't see her acting sick, however...
around the second (lower) incision, the one that requires stitches, there's
a pocket of fluid. it's about 1 to 1.5 cm in diameter around the incision,
