A coworker of my wife is going to give us a kitten. she says that it is eating solid food on its own and that we could have it any time. I am told that it is only 5-6 weeks old. Is this too young to be given to us and taken away from it's mother?

Cute little Ceili, the fourteen year old stray with the heart murmer, almost took my face off last night with a double pawed swipe! My arms are covered with scratches and even a "never going away" scar from where she bit me. Through it all she purrs contentedly. I love it, what a ...

I lost 1 cat (9 year old feral orange tabby) to coyotes last week. I have 2 other cats. I always bring my cats into the house before nightfall. But that feral cat stayed out 1/2 hour longer, now she is gone. My neighbor saw 3 coyotes in his backyard right at that same time

| ***Imuran killed my cat! | 22 Nov 2003 22:11 GMT | 1 |
Approximately 2 months ago, my cat, Luther, a sweet gray tabby, went to the vet and was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome. He was placed on prednisone and Imuran for this. I, foolishly, trusted the vet and did not research the drugs being administered. The IBD seemed

| Cat doesn't eat | 22 Nov 2003 11:37 GMT | 3 |
The new 6 month old cat we got from the shelter last week is turning into a real darling, but he just won't eat. What should I do? He eats about 25g/1oz of canned food per day, that's it. Once he threw even that up. His stool is on the soft side.
