What a brat!03 Nov 2003 02:51 GMT4
When Mr. Tom arrived on the scene the contract was that he'd catch some of
the many mice in and around our old house.
Now what does he do today? He brings home a mouse, fine, but after it has
gone under the chest of drawers he just leaves the scene...
New kitty arrived yesterday03 Nov 2003 02:15 GMT3
After a significant search our new "son", a black, long-haired Persian,
about 9 months old was adopted yesterday.  We kept him in the wife's
bedroom/bathroom for the last 24 hours, rather than the entire house for his
sense of security.  His litter box is in the shower, and his food ...

Can someone please explain to my little Artemis that 5:00 in the morning is
"Mummy and Daddy sleep" time....NOT  "Artemis cuddles mummy and gives her a

I told you all last week how my 7mo kitten was getting spayed and
declawed.  Well, everything went fine and she is healing nicely

them because of this chose to urinate on our bed. What I don't understand is
why the bed + they both sleep on this bed & so why would he ...

I have a 16 year old cat that was diagnosed with cancer and
had he's lower jaw removed 2 months ago. Since then he has
had difficulty keeping his tongue inside his mouth the
result being that it gets rather dry and becomes black. We
Kitten - sneezing/cough?01 Nov 2003 18:30 GMT20
I have recently (one week) acquired a Ragdoll kitten.  Just occassionally
(only heard it about 4 times this week) he sort of does a mixture of
sneezing and coughing - like he has something in his throat.  It's only
brief but worrying.  He had initially been 'hiding' under my dining ...

My cat has had his blood tested for all kinds of things included aids
and leukemia, but tested negative for everything. Now he's on a
broad-spectrum antibiotic program. What else can I do food supplements

Feral kitten spaying question01 Nov 2003 04:09 GMT5
Actually it is not just about feral cats I guess but about any.
My mother-in-law takes in strays that "appear" at her place.  She
lives on a slow country road with a barn and several outbuilding and I
quess it looks like a good place for people to drop their unwanted

owner's out there who have cats with this disease?  If so can you tell me
what kind of lifestyle your cat leads and how old I can expect my cat to
live with the disease?
