Petcare Pet Insurance - negative experience31 Oct 2003 05:50 GMT1
There have been several threads regarding Pet Insurance and whether it
is worth it to purchase or not.  I have recently had a very negative
experience with PetCare Pet Insurance (petcareinsurace.com).  I

Need Humane Home for Cat31 Oct 2003 01:03 GMT2
I have had my cat Weezer for 4 years now.  When I got her she
displayed a lot of aggressive behavior: hissing, spitting, whacking,
growling and general actions that I expected with a change of
ownership.  I had assumed this was just an adjustment period, but this
What About IAMS?31 Oct 2003 00:22 GMT46
I recently switched from dry Whiskas to Iams cat food.  My
cats get hairballs and Iams has a formula for that.  Does anybody
have an opinion about Iams?  Is their food okay or what?

RE  Little pocket on cats ear.29 Oct 2003 19:09 GMT2
A while back someone posted a question asking if anyone knew what the
little "pocket" on cats ear (Double layer at bottom edge of ear with
space between) was for.  I asked vet when I took on of my nanies and
she said as far as she knew it served no special purpose.
Fleas From Dogs?29 Oct 2003 16:21 GMT4
Next week I have to leave my cat with my best friend for 12 days.  My
friend has a dog, who obviously goes outside for walks during the day.  My
cat has never been outside so I've never needed to put a flea collar on her.
My friend's house is very clean, but she does have ...

I have two cats I adopted from a rescue organization almost 2 years ago.
They were not from the same litter but got along fine together. They are
both about 3 years old.
We just adopted a new kitten and they HATE him! They both hiss at him and
Vaccinosis?29 Oct 2003 01:12 GMT3
In regards to animals having their yearly vaccinations, I was wondering if
anyone has heard of vaccinosis and what are their views on it.  For those of
you who have not heard about it - it seems to be quite a controversial
issue.  What to believe?

The nerve of some cats.28 Oct 2003 03:39 GMT8
Unfortunately the territory vacated by the cat that was deported to another
part of the county has been taken over by an interloper.
This time, owing to the furore encountered in here for giving the previous
cat its "marching orders", I decided to give this one a good soaking for
crazy pet people27 Oct 2003 23:54 GMT72
It seems in this land of nuts and fruits that buying a pet or rescuing one
from the animal shelter is now "adopting" a pet, and boy do they mean it.
These loons have prospective owners fill out long detailed forms, asking
such relevant things as :
