my cat loved tuna he lived to 13 yrs but now you've got
me wondering, did tuna contribute to his kidney failure?
I hope not he ate lots of other things too especially
raw chicken breasts.
Weeble Update - Week 208 Sep 2003 23:25 GMT16
Sir Weeble Wobblybottom has both eyes fully open, and can walk on all four
legs (verses just crawl around on his belly), but is still a bit wobbly.
His appetite is still growing, from about 6cc per feeding (every 2-4 hours)
to anywhere between 12-18cc per feeding (every 2-4 hours).  ...
My Neighbor's Dog Ate My Cat08 Sep 2003 21:35 GMT3
Now I'm feeding her 3 two week old kittens. And I'm learning waaaay more about
cats than I ever wanted to. Like for instance, I don't think grooming is just
grooming. I think it's a necessary act - as necessary as eating (for their
nervous system??)! I have to simulate grooming with ...
Cats and plants08 Sep 2003 19:36 GMT2
OK, following my fire question (thanks for the responses!), here's
another question from the inexperienced new owner of Moomin and Fudge.
How do we stop them attacking our houseplants?! They've been here a week
today, and they've already shredded two of them. We could of course just

In Memory of Sammy08 Sep 2003 04:39 GMT6
My beloved cat Sammy passed away this morning. He was 16 years old and had
been with me since 1987. He had wandered in as a tiny kitten and stayed with
me ever since. He had been ill of late but was happy plodding around and
being fussed over. He had been to the vets etc. Yesterday ...
she still hates me :{08 Sep 2003 03:12 GMT7
Sabrina's still mad at me.     She's healing well, and gettign around
well, and she's been cuddling with me at night.    But darnit all -
she keeps hiding under the bed and hopping away from me.
Yesterday I telecommuted from home so I could spend the day with her.
cats and waterbeds08 Sep 2003 02:14 GMT2
I'm thinking of adopting an adult cat from a shelter, but would like to
know if anyone has any experience (direct or anecdotal) about cats
tearing/puncturing waterbed mattresses.
I have a hardside (for the uninitiated, it is basically a 5-sided wooden
Stray Problems08 Sep 2003 01:08 GMT10
There is a stray that has been around the neighborhood for years. The
lady down the street had been feeding him table scraps out of pity, so
he decided to stick around. He's probably about 10 years old. Everyone
calls him Old George, so I guess that's his name.
Kittens + chimney = worry08 Sep 2003 01:00 GMT8
I'm looking for some advice. A week ago, we got two lovely kittens (9
weeks old): Moomin, and his sister Fudge. We've also recently had an
open fire installed, though it hasn't yet been cold enough to use it. A
couple of times, the kittens have crawled into the grate, which we
Cats & Tuna08 Sep 2003 00:35 GMT3
My wife had shown me a few days ago a site that stated cats should not be
fed tuna. It stated that the tuna contained mercury, and although humans
could process small amounts, cats can't. It went on to say that cats become
hypersensitive to touch (usually in the hip region) after ...
Four Cats for Two Weeks!07 Sep 2003 21:30 GMT1
Today my Aunt dropped off her cat here for us to take care of for the
next two weeks while she is on vacation!  I'm very pleased to have
Romeo here and hope he can adjust to his new surroundings soon.  At
this time he is choosing to spend most of his time in the basement,

Well this weekend Sabrina has started coming out of her shell alot more.
