newborn kitten. . . . question!14 Sep 2003 01:12 GMT3
Clear DayI've been taking care of a stray cat for about 4 months now.  Last night and yesterday she started acting really weird.  When I came home from work she found a box on our inclosed back porch and stayed there.  About an hour and 1/2 later, my boyfriend went to check on ...
flea drops13 Sep 2003 22:48 GMT3
My poor Maine Coone has flees and we are trying to get rid of them.  Sadly
about 3 weeks ago I used Hartz Flee drops on him which helped some but
didn't even come close to getting rid of them.  It says to wait a month
before using anything else.  I now have Frontline from the vet ...
Staywell 400 or 500?13 Sep 2003 10:11 GMT3
I have two cats (4.5mo 3kg wonderful girls). In a few weeks I will
let them go outside, and since I am willing to be their servant but
not their slave I intend to install a cat door in the kitchen door.
Both the Staywell 400 (magnetic collar key) and the Staywell 500

Five years ago today the precious little creature who taught me what
love really is left this world to wait for me in the next....

two cats, different diets, one house11 Sep 2003 15:35 GMT2
Is there any easy way to have two cats eat different food besides feeding
them in separate rooms with the doors closed and then taking the food away?
I have a kitten who needs to be eating nutrient rich, growth formula kitty
food, but my roommate's cat is a little over weight and ...
Blood in Urine.... :(11 Sep 2003 06:43 GMT28
I came downstairs this afternoon to find our cat (Harry) sitting on top of a
pile of papers that had been left on the sideboard in the kitchen.  As I
came in I noticed that Harry was leaning slightly forward.  Upon closer
inspection we found that he had left about a tablespoon full ...
Cats & Yogurt11 Sep 2003 02:55 GMT9
Anyone else besides me have a cat that likes yogurt.  I was enjoying
my yogurt tonight and my 'child' tried to get up in my lap and take it
away from me !!  I put a little on the tip of my finger and she lapped
it right up !!!
Cats + Pee + Carpet  == Lame09 Sep 2003 22:53 GMT14
My cats have taken to peeing on my carpet in my apt. which really
sucks.  They do this when I am gone and even if my "Littermaid" is
clean and ready to rock, they still do it.  I actually setup a motion
detected webcam and found out where they did it.  I then bought both
Help With Newly Hissing Cat09 Sep 2003 21:33 GMT1
Lately I've been having some trouble with my cat Max.  We adopted him
as a stray when he was about a year old, and have had him for about
two years now.  We've tried to strike a happy medium between keeping
him an indoor cat vs. outdoor cat by keeping him on a harness so he

I am a new cat owner and don't know much about the critters. Is it harmless
for my outdoor cat to eat a squirrel? My cat has rabies vaccine. Thx.
Ultrasonic dog repellers - any good?09 Sep 2003 17:11 GMT2
I'm trying to find a solution how to keep neighbour's dog out & give our
cats free hand at the same time. The dog comes in thru gate and keeps
digging up our yard and peeing on plants. I have considered placing
ultrasonic dog repeller in front of the gate, but first wanted to find ...

This morning in the bathroom, Sabrina was in and wanted out.  Chloe
(the dog) was on the other side of the door.    When I opend the door,
