Eccentric behavior in litter box15 Aug 2003 01:02 GMT6
For the last couple of weeks, our 5 month old
male has been piling up his litter in one end of the
box.  Within minutes of changing the box, he's in
there digging away until he's eventually got one end
bad kitty14 Aug 2003 13:24 GMT5
I came home to find a vase knocked over and the artificial flowers
all over the floor.  There can only be one culprit...kitty!  I
picked her up and showed her the vase and yelled BAD BAD BAD! at
her.  The trouble is it's hard to stay mad at her because she's
Persian in need of home14 Aug 2003 05:33 GMT1
Hi all.  I am posting on behalf of my mother who lives in Southern New
Hampshire.  A few weeks ago my mother, who is a real estate agent, was
previewing a home listed by another agent and ran into a totally
matted, desperately hungry cat who was, as it turned out, rather close

Our 12 year old black & white male, Lucky has been suffering from chronic
sinusitis since New Year's. One a month , the vet has to give him a
cortisone shot followed by a week of antibiotics.
It is a recurring problem  and the vet says Lucky will always have this.

I have a female cat a year and a half old, not spayed (yet, but soon) and I
just brought home a female kitten 8 weeks old. Bella, my first cat, is not
too happy. She is not harrasing Salem (kitten) but is growling and hissing a
lot. She just kind of watches her and even hisses at me ...

Tick12 Aug 2003 15:19 GMT1
Cat's got a tick on its neck. How do I get rid of the bugger?
It also had the odd flea or several so I gave it a dose of Advantage 80 for
Cats. Now no sign of fleas but I can still feel the tick.
The cat is very nervous and so I am reluctant to subject it to any stress.
Male Cat Question12 Aug 2003 00:47 GMT1
We took in an  abandoned male cat to hopefully put it in a good home. We got
it fixed but have noticed that he still sprays. Is this normal?
Thanks,
Brian
Claws11 Aug 2003 22:35 GMT2
Does anyone of you know a way to *peacefully* clip cat's claws?:)
My cat doesn't go out so she can't scratch trees like cats usually do. I
have to clip her claws every now and then, otherwise she ruins
furniture.Besides, too long claws are uncomfortable even for herself. The
Remedy for cat urine smell on carpet? Your ideas, please11 Aug 2003 22:21 GMT7
We have had a problem for several months with our cat urinating, in the same
place on our carpet.  (No bladder or other problems reported by the vet.)  A
neighbor of mine had a similar problem (can't get the smell out).  She had
replaced the carpet 2 times and  still had the problem ...

Saw some cats at the shelter today....11 Aug 2003 17:39 GMT5
...and of course I wanted to take them all home :-(  There were two cats,
though, that really caught my attention because they were huge.  I mean
really huge.  I've never seen cats that big.  I didn't ask any questions,
because I was afraid I'd bring another cat home if I stuck ...
