kitten & snake19 Aug 2003 19:01 GMT6
I already know that mixing kittens and snakes is not a wise idea, but
my kitten has learned to behave fairly well so today I got the snake
out after several months of neglect.
It went pretty well.  I put the snake on my lap and the kitten jumped

A cat adopted us over a month ago and we just can't keep him.  Our allergies
are doing poorly and two more of my kids are having asthma symptoms now.
The cat mostly stays outdoors but comes in to eat a play and cuddle a bit.
I'm in Southern CA and don't just want to give him to ...

I Shall Miss Mei Ling17 Aug 2003 03:54 GMT1
Yesterday, one week after my birthday, I had to say goodbye to my dear friend
and loyal companion - Mei (May) Ling.  She was 18 1/2.
It seemed like such a short time ago when she & I first met. It was actually in
1986.  Her green eyes, freckled nose, and unique (calico) coloring ...

Cats mythology16 Aug 2003 00:50 GMT3
Who does the PR for cats? People harbor this fantasy that cats are clean,
much cleaner than dogs. Is anyone here naive or dishonest enough to
subscribe to that crock of bull? I could write 5 paragraphs disconfirming
this lie. Mike.
Am I the Alpha Cat?15 Aug 2003 22:25 GMT12
Whenever I lie down next to Greebo [1], if his face is towards me, he turns
away and puts his butt towards me.  He won't cuddle with me with his face
near mine, he'll just squirm away or change position, and he'll sleep next
to me, but only upside down, or, if his head is near mine, ...
Petra kitten is dead, advise for her sister15 Aug 2003 20:27 GMT6
Petra kitten was very much part of my web site www.kittens.co.uk.
Many of you sent in suggestions of names for the kittens Lexi and Petra.
Little Petra had enough traffic sense for her close without many cars, but
not enough it seems for the busier road 2 streets away.
Cat sick15 Aug 2003 17:26 GMT1
A couple of weeks ago, I took my cat to the vet because she had blood in her
urine.  Because she was peeing in the tub, which was good because I could
check the progress of the antibiotics, I ended up having to put a litter box
in my room.  Well, she seemed to be doing fine.  It ...
