We have two small cats.  The mother is a 7-1/2 lb. calico, 4 years old, and
her son is a 10 lb. black tabby, 3+ years old.  Both are short haired,
indoor cats, spayed / neutered.
This year they are both shedding hair and leaving more dander than we have

I have an old female cat that has gone through many owners so exact age is
not known.  I'm beginning to understand why everyone gets rid of her.  To
put it bluntly she is an idiot when it comes to using a litter box.  She
never covers up her mess in the litter box, while my other ...

Never thought I'd be excited over catpoop, but today, I am!  Weeble had his

How to clean smell from (ugh!) non-box sh.t/pee area (4ft x 8ft)?23 Aug 2003 21:30 GMT9
ok -- have been keeping cat locked into (large) room
with adjoining bathroom, where cat-box is.
While locked up, and  *only* while locked up, he
does indeed use the cat box.
Abandoned Kitten - Day one: Weeble Purrs!!!!!23 Aug 2003 21:28 GMT1
Most of you have read my request for help with a pair of abandoned kittens -
and thanks for the great advice (both from NGs, my vet and a local rescue
group).  Unfortunately, one of them, the white & black one, was in very bad
condition: she was bleeding from her nose and/or mouth, ...
Have to get rid of a cat...any suggestions?23 Aug 2003 18:48 GMT10
I have three cats and a dog, but I think it's finally time to say
goodbye to one of them.  We have a cat who has always had a urination
problem.  There are times when it's been better then others, but for
the most part, it's been pretty consistent.  She's been to the vets
Vet visits horrible, suggestions?23 Aug 2003 13:23 GMT11
My cat, Buddy, is a 1+ year old half Maine Coone, half tabby.  He has a
great personality.  He acts just like a dog following my girlfriend and I
around(mainly me seemingly).  He likes to go for walks on a leash(with
harness).  We can give him medicine or do anything to him and he ...

My cat who is a 1 1/2 year old male has been feeling sick lately. He

stomach I found a couple of little bumps. The bumps look pretty close

My cat has been vomiting quite a lot lately after reading a newsgroup item I
decided to take him to the vets ASAP. The vet can find no obvious reason but
