I have an old female cat that has gone through many owners so exact age is not known. I'm beginning to understand why everyone gets rid of her. To put it bluntly she is an idiot when it comes to using a litter box. She never covers up her mess in the litter box, while my other ...

Most of you have read my request for help with a pair of abandoned kittens - and thanks for the great advice (both from NGs, my vet and a local rescue group). Unfortunately, one of them, the white & black one, was in very bad condition: she was bleeding from her nose and/or mouth, ...

I have three cats and a dog, but I think it's finally time to say goodbye to one of them. We have a cat who has always had a urination problem. There are times when it's been better then others, but for the most part, it's been pretty consistent. She's been to the vets

My cat, Buddy, is a 1+ year old half Maine Coone, half tabby. He has a great personality. He acts just like a dog following my girlfriend and I around(mainly me seemingly). He likes to go for walks on a leash(with harness). We can give him medicine or do anything to him and he ...

My cat has been vomiting quite a lot lately after reading a newsgroup item I decided to take him to the vets ASAP. The vet can find no obvious reason but will carry out a blood test next week. He also said that it could be Irritable Bowl Syndrome, has anyone come across this in cats ...
