Best Litter Tray19 Jul 2003 00:16 GMT6
Can anyone recommend a littertray for an indoor cat?
I have been looking at both Littermaid (automatic) and the automatic
litterbox - which you turn to empty litter into a tray without having to
scoop.

My siamese  cat Marquis do loves to chew the woolen clothes!!!  :o))) This
bad cat can do something wrong with your sweater, for example, if you leave

I'm going to be adopting two kittens tomorrow, is it necessary to purchase
two litterboxes?  What about litter, I've heard that the clumping kind can
be bad for kittens.  Any truth to this?
Thanks
Those Darn Cats18 Jul 2003 15:21 GMT5
Cats, unlike dogs, are quite "low maintenance." While dog owners have
to regularly take their pets on walks, clean up after them when they
crap, give them mounds of food, shout at them to stop barking every
fifteen seconds, and determine exactly where their dog has buried

gone to the bridge18 Jul 2003 04:03 GMT5
Today we let Godfrey begin his journey to the bridge. His nerve damage was
not responding to either medicine or time. It was a horrible decision but I
couldn't stand to see him in pain when we had to manually express him.
I've cried all day. This was so hard to do. I will never ...

Chausies or other hybrid cats ?18 Jul 2003 03:10 GMT9
I have been reading alot about chausies and other hybrid cats trying to
decide on what to get.  One of the things I am very interested in is the
size of the cat,  one of the main reasons I am interested is for a larger
cat.  All large cats are illegal to have as pets in my state, ...
Cat Needs Nap18 Jul 2003 02:50 GMT2
One of our cats does not take very well to travelling, even just a few miles
by car.  Does anyone know anything safe and effective that will calm him
down for a trip across town?
Cats feeling the weather18 Jul 2003 01:14 GMT2
In this group I've read some interesting postings about cats behaving
strangely when the weather changes.
Have you any more stories?
Tom only reacts when the weather *has* changed. When it rains he seems to
Cat Food17 Jul 2003 21:43 GMT12
Hi all. I'm new to this group and was just curious to find out opinions on
the best food to feed a cat? We currently feed ours Science Diet, but was
just wondering if there might be something better. When bringing our new cat
to the vet for a checkup, she suggested Eukanuba. My dad, ...
Mouse fun17 Jul 2003 21:04 GMT2
I have a kitten and a pet snake.  The snake gets fed mice every week.
I bring the mice home in a plastic container and set it down for
my kitten to watch.  She just loves watching the mice!  She stalks
around the box, examining them from every angle.  She tries to get
Baby teeth?17 Jul 2003 20:32 GMT3
My kitten is missing a fang.  Are cats like people, do they
have baby teeth which fall out to give way to adult teeth
or are these her teeth for life?
My last cat was missing a fang too, what a strange coincidence.
