How to find cat shows?21 Jul 2003 20:48 GMT4
Hi.  I'm wondering how I go about finding cat shows in my area (Puget Sound
area).  I have never been to a cat show before.  Do you get to interact with
the cats at all?
Thanks in advance!

I have an 18 year old cat diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Failure.
We're having trouble getting her to eat.  We've tried cooked shrimp
(one of her favorites), raw and cooked chicken, wet canned food, dried
boxed food, etc. etc.  The vet said what often happens with CKF is the

I live in the Dallas area with two awesome cats (a 9 year old female
and a 13 year old male).  You can check out my indoor cat runs and
outdoor cat enclosure here -- http://www.brushyland.com/cats/.  They
adore eachother and thus, I've been reluctant to introduce a 3rd cat

Im sorry, but I coudn't come at having a pet that has to be fed live food it
would starve first and I certainly couldn't let the cat play with it first
that would be double the torture for me and the food. I remember when I was
about eight I took a wild mouse out of a cats mouth [ ...

Has anyone here ever had any experience with a kitten being exposed to

The friendly stray which gets ill-what to do?19 Jul 2003 02:16 GMT9
We had been feeding a large (like huge) ginger Tom and his younger black
female side-kick. Why these two hung around to-gether astounded me a I
thought cats were not herding animals once mature.
All was well for 6 months, they would turn up allways together and wait for

Hi, we got a kitten (ragdoll) nearly a week ago. She is settling in well and
seems pretty happy. She also likes to follow us around and then curl up and
sleep or play next to you.
However, she doesn't seem to like it when you pick her up or put her on your
