Feral kitten30 Mar 2005 04:36 GMT11
I have a feral kitten that showed up at my house the day my seet Blanca
died. It is black with white boots and will now come into the porch and eat
but runs away and comes back even if it only sees us inside. How long
should I wait before trying to trap it or should I do it as soon ...

I work with a small pet rescue group.  The vets in our area are talking
about making changes to the way they discount our bills. Currently
they offer 25% off the price of services like spay/neuter, surgery,
office visits, etc. No discounts on RX food, medication or tests.
Feral / Tame Cat Interaction24 Mar 2005 19:38 GMT3
I have just recently succeeded in getting a feral cat to interact with me,
and is actually very sweet and seemingly needy.  My plan is to take it to
the vet this afternoon for testing, shots, spay or neuter?, etc.  My real
concern here is the interaction between this new cat and my ...
Cats after hurricane21 Mar 2005 13:25 GMT1
I misspoke about the amount I am spending on food for the stray cats.  I
also have 2 house cats and two elderly dogs who require special food.  I
guess I had it all added together.
I am still hoping to find homes.  The one cat that I had tested and
Beware this Backyard Breeder in Calgary11 Mar 2005 17:04 GMT14
Weepurrs is a backyard breeder (kitten mill) in Calgary run by Phyllis
Mikesell. Her house is filthy and reeks of cat urine. (My first mistake
- I should have turned around the minute I smelled/saw the place.)
The kitten she sold me for $600 is the most adorable little guy in the
Has anyone ever heard of this before -- wacky cat buyers -- I think? 11 Mar 2005 15:56 GMT3
I hope someone from this forum can give me some info ASAP. I run a small
cattery and I recently sold a kitten to some people who came in from out of
state (they put the kitten on reserve). Anyway, they came and took the
kitten (under some additionally odd circumstances) and several ...

Concerned about New Cat10 Mar 2005 19:47 GMT9
I adopted a Cat from a shelter last week, and am absolutely in love with
him. He was immediately neutered, and when feeling better (2 days later), I
took him to the vet for a check up, and a FIV/Feline Leukemia test.
Everything checked out great.
help stop an extortionist06 Mar 2005 23:51 GMT13
I was shown a web site that should be shut down. www.savetoby.com We need to
stop this idiot before his success encourages others to try the same thing.
I've sent a message to both his domain name proxy service (people hiding who
he is)  http://www.domainsbyproxy.com  ...
About the rabbit Toby06 Mar 2005 09:51 GMT2
I really don't think this guy is going to eat the rabbit. He just knows
that a lot of people will pay him to spare the bunny and he's willing to
sicken others to get his money.
