Cat with persistent congestion29 Nov 2004 18:45 GMT5
I rescued a stray 15 days ago. She had a bad Upper Respiratory
Infection with discharge both from her eyes (a little) and nose
(really ugly) and open-mouth breathing. The vet put her on Clavamox
for systemic treatment. Her discharge remained yellow/green so after
RE: How to help a stray mom and her 2 kittens29 Nov 2004 02:17 GMT1
-- Hello, this is my first time posting to this group. I usually post and
help Samoyed Rescue. Every since I helped my last Samoyed Rescue cross over
to the Rainbow Bridge this past May, I've been loaded with stray cats. At
one time this summer, we were feeding about 8 of them. ...

Need Help25 Nov 2004 03:40 GMT1
Hi everyone, about 12 weeks ago while I was at an Estate sale, I
noticed a very pretty cat on the front porch walking back and forth
like it was hungry. I inquired with the person conducting the sale and
she told me the people accross the street moved out of their house and
How to make your animal shelter lose foster parents!21 Nov 2004 02:06 GMT3
Dear Animal Shelters:
Like most shelters out there, you probably have too few rescued
animals and far too many foster homes eager to take them. You're

Trying to tame a semi-feral10 Nov 2004 05:17 GMT10
I'm trying to find out information on how to teach a semi-feral cat to
like being picked up (or at least tolerate it).
I adopted a semi-feral from the humane society about seven months ago
(she is now 13 mo old), and in this time she has stopped hiding, and

I would  ask for anyone to please look at the pictures at
http://members.lycos.co.uk/waweldragon5/html0006/page1.htm and let me
know what you think it might be .  The history is that this animal had
an untreated flea allergy .  I eventually managed to take her to a vet
New Fish Tank02 Nov 2004 10:17 GMT2
I am about to setup a Marine Fish Tank in my hall, about 30 inches wide, and
24 inches deep, sitting on a 24 inch deep stand.
Do you think the tank will drive my cats nuts and really annoy them?  I
really want it, but will avoid if it is cruel on the cats.
