This may sound silly, but I am wondering if anyone has checked this out.
From my experince, with cats, it seems like cats with really short hair
are more hyper than cats with short but fluffy thicker hair. Seems like
the longer hair the cat has, the more mellow the cat is. I'm sure ...

Zoe is a healthy clean female 3 year-old tri-colour cat who has been fixed.
She's shy at first but eventually is very friendly and affectionate.  She
'talks' too.

can one use a cat bait with added tranqualizer or poisen to catch/dispose of
wild cats that
are killing the wildlife on our property?
How would you recommend to do this?

They all weight around a lb. The two boys are drinking their formula from a
bowl. Share isn't in their vocabulary. I have to give them separate bowls as

I JUST RECENTLY BECAME THE FOSTER MOTHER TO 4 KITTENS THAT WERE LEFT IN
A DUMPSTER IN A SEALED BOX. THEY WERE BARELY 4 WEEKS, CLOSER TO 3 WEEKS
OLD. THEY WERE DEHYDRATED, MALNOURISHED, TRAUMATIZED, AND IN GENERAL
POOR HEALTH. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A DOG PERSON, BUT THE SIGHT OF THESE

if a cat is caught once in a havahart trap.....and released.....,
will it be too wary on subsequent revisits that it can never be caught again
in the same type of trap?
any thoughts appreciated.

They all went to see the vet today.
Tiffany, the problem child, stopped taking the bottle on Wednesday so I had
to go back to fighting KMR into her with the syringe. Thursday she got the

We live in the country in northwest Indiana, very small, depressed
area, we moved here last fall.
A stray cat showed up and gave birth to five kittens somewhere on our

we have a feral cat who comes around often.
We just got 2 kittens and while we dont let them out, just in case they get
out by accident sometime we want to rid the feral cat.

Saturday our local rescue group called to ask us to bottle feed another
litter. The people who brought them in found them when they were mowing
their lawn. I guess they really wanted to mow that spot so they snagged the

I have always had about 4 cats, in the past few years, not to bore you
with all the details,  I have gotten 5 more, in Jan. I took in 3 three
week old kittens, I found homes for 2 of them and kept one, which was
