| So long, Burt | 29 Aug 2009 17:54 GMT | 26 |
Last night I had to make the decision to put my 17.5 year-old cat to sleep. It was the right thing to do, but I miss him terribly. He was just about 4 weeks old when I got him and he was my companion for so long that life without him will feel very strange.

| Cat breeding | 16 Aug 2009 07:21 GMT | 20 |
I've been lurking in this group for a while, getting nuggets of advice here and there, and I can't help but notice the dogmatic attitude the majority of the participants have towards the breeding of our masters.
:) It was made explicit in the recent thread about "breading", but ... |

| HELP! My cat runs my house! | 14 Aug 2009 03:11 GMT | 24 |
We have a 16 lb. nuetered American shorthair that's the man of the house. If he meows and I don't let him out he goes and pees on my kitchen rug a few minutes later! He shows his displeasure in peeing on any rug he can find if he doesn't like something. He also pees in the

We got a kitten to catch the mice in the house. He's about 12 weeks old or so. The vet has recommended that he stay indoors, so he's not getting any practice hunting outside at all. He loves to chase the laser and play with little foam balls, and we have one of those little

I was using Fresh Step, and found that there was little or no odor and it was easy to clean. Tried a corn-based one, but didn't like the smell. Went back to Fresh Step. Tried Arm & Hammer, but there was distinct Eau de Cat Box in the house and I found it very hard to scoop: it ...
