Ping Phil - Diabetes Question14 May 2008 21:24 GMT9
I don't know if you remember, but about 6 months ago I decided to switch my
cats to an all canned food diet (they were on a canned food diet, but had
some dry Science Diet to snack on).  I was worried about struvite crystals
in my boys (this is the first time I've had boy cats).  ...

My cat has suddenly lost his meow14 May 2008 18:56 GMT10
My poor lil fuzzy boy has lost his meow. He purrs fine and is normal every
other way but when he tries to meow nothing comes out. At least not much more
than a squeak or a strained sound barely audible. Its not laryngitis because
he has no cough or swelling in his throat. Anyone ...

Where'd our STUFF go?13 May 2008 14:59 GMT7
The movers came today, the house is empty except for the furniture that
belongs to the house (rental).  Poor Meep... put her in her box this
morning, locked her in the bathroom... she hears strangers and weird
noises for some hours (she's afraid of anyone but us) ... then I let ...
Confusion in an older cat12 May 2008 20:07 GMT10
My beloved companion of 16 years (she is 17) has the symptoms of what
would be Altzheimers in a person.  She is geneally confused and often is
either agitated or lethargic.  Does anyone know if there are any
treatments for this?  I very much miss the personality of her as she was ...

Feline leukemia test negative, Stomatitis12 May 2008 19:33 GMT1
I have a female cat that was having mouth problems.  She could not yawn, cry
or eat without screaming out in pain. I took her to a vet and they said she
had leukemia even though her test was negative. They said it had caused
stomatitis in her gums and that the only thing left to do ...
Introductions not going well12 May 2008 19:17 GMT12
I took in a stray semi-feral cat over 2 months ago.  She lived for 6 weeks
in our basement separated from my other 2 male cats.  The other 2 cats knew
something was going on and could sense the new cat behind the door and
occasionally heard her.  When it was time to introduce the ...

Is lactose free milk for human a good substitute for the very
expensive milk for cats at the pet shop?

I can't say either of us particularly enjoyed the experience
but it certainly was worth doing.
Hopefully round 2 will be a bit less of a melodrama.

Help: Newbie confused by litter issues!06 May 2008 22:34 GMT4
[A very sweet stray or runaway cat has adopted us and we, ignorant of
all cat issues, are in panic. That's why I have a few posts each with a
