More Questions on Canned Cat Foods and Urine PH17 Apr 2008 01:00 GMT3
Since my last appointment with the veterinarian I have become even
more determined to feed my cats the best food out there. I am running
into a lot of interesting information, most of which is conflicting,
if not downright confusing.

Hi, my name is Adam, I am currently carrying out research in the field
of Maine Coon Cats in order to create a new ebook.
I was wondering if you could click on the following link;

Animal rightists and animal lovers all over the world have been
campaigning against animal experimentation for decades and finally, it
looks as if the end could be in sight.  Top officials from the U.S.

Even though what I thought was catproof seemed good, Rhett was
actually able to move the glass topped table. Not much, but with him,
given time, he will figure out how to get what he wants.
I moved some furniture around so that the tank is between an
Cat gagging on mouth stitches14 Apr 2008 14:01 GMT2
My senior boy had all of his upper molars extracted last Tuesday,
along with one canine. He has stomatitis. He's been doing really well
(and would have eaten a bucket full of canned food the minute he was
home from the hospital). His vet called Friday to check on him, and I

OK, the Western blot test showed up today.  FIV positive.  Damn.  Now I know
this is not an immediate death sentence I am nonetheless not happy.  I am a
firm believer in holistic remedies - they work. I am going to get into
nutritional therapy for this guy.

Meep's finally off the Clomicalm and on amytriptyline.  Probably because
the vet got it from a compounding pharmacy, there was no drug insert for
it.  Her dose is 2.5mg, once per day.  Capsules.
I see it's an antihistamine, as well as having analgesic affects.  I see
Sammy and Hunter - Help!12 Apr 2008 00:15 GMT9
Hunter is at the S.N.A.P clinic getting his "snip" - they're going to call
me between 2 and 4 today to let me know how he did and when to come pick him
up.  Again, purrs for his uneventful surgery would be greatly appreciated.
Sammy is going to be a problem.  *NOT* because she is ...
Feline Bladder Inflamation11 Apr 2008 05:21 GMT24
We had to take Max into the veterinarian today for a recheck. This was
strictly a recheck for a seemingly minor bladder/urinary tract
infection. Upon the original visit he showed what seemed like rather
minor excessive red and white blood cells in his urine indicating an
Shedding Madness10 Apr 2008 22:08 GMT13
I have a recent addition to my home (4 year old girl that I got about
3 months ago), and she's shedding EVERYWHERE!  It's not just because
it's Spring; she's been shedding tons since I got her (in the middle
of winter).  She is an american shorthair, but seems to have a much

Integrating a Stray - HELP!!10 Apr 2008 15:37 GMT16
If you've been reading the "other" cat group, you'll already know we have a
new stray hanging around.  Here's a recap...
The neighbor's female cat has never been spayed, ergo every 4 - 6 weeks we
see toms hanging around.  We call the female "Socks" even though the
Cat with either a dirty mouth or gum problem?09 Apr 2008 14:35 GMT10
I thought my cat (male age about 8) had a dirty mouth from eating, but
went to wipe it clean and I think it's attached.
On one side, a piece of gummish kind of thing LOOKS to be attached.
It's almost like a skin tag on a human, but the same color as cat gum.
