Question About Cat Behavior...10 Mar 2008 05:26 GMT5
I know that cats hunch their backs, bristle their fur and spit when
they are threatened by other animals, but my kitten likes to hunch

Diet Update08 Mar 2008 18:42 GMT13
Sammy has now lost 15 ounces - just a few more and she'll be at her desired
weight.  She's more active too (I know how even a little bit of excess

lost 6 ounces and she too is now at her desired weight.  ...

Alex's passing07 Mar 2008 21:00 GMT6
First of all, I want to thank everyone for their sentiments about our loss
of Alex. He was a wonderful cat, and we miss him a lot. He was one of only
two cats that we actually had from kittenhood. All of the others have been
adopted as adults. I remember when we saw him racing ...
dried  food07 Mar 2008 02:38 GMT4
The history is below, but here is my question.   Do cat owners  who
feed  their cats all or a majority of dried  foods notice  that the
stools  are a lighter colour or passed less easily on tyhe dried
food  than on wet food.  ?     Any advice or opinions most welcomed.
distemper question06 Mar 2008 15:25 GMT13
I have an indoor cat.  He never comes in contact with any other
animals.  I took him to the vet where he got rabies and distemper
shots, each supposedly good for three years.
A few weeks later I get a call from the vet saying he has to come back

Question about Feline Leukemia and FIV test04 Mar 2008 18:42 GMT16
As I posted earlier, I am taking in a stray cat that we found.  I had
the cat tested for leukemia and FIV and she is negative.  She was
tested one week after we caught her and brought her inside.  My
question is, should I have her tested again?  Meaning, how quickly

Interstitial cystitis04 Mar 2008 13:26 GMT2
Hi! I am new to this group. I have been a veterinary technician for 18
years. I have 32 cats, 1 dog, and horses. I do take in strays, as we
have a safe place for them to reside. My mother has 8 inside, and I
have 4 in my house, the rest are outdoors. They have the barn, and
