Just an update if any were wondering.  As of today (5 days earlier than
estimated in a dog-free house) Daisy (cat) now decided her new perch is the
top of the sofa.  Since Cash's (beagle mix) is the sofa, she sits and stares
down at him from about 12 inches away.

So, Meep had a mild cystitis attack recently.  She'd continually go to
the litterbox, do nothing, but without the distress and urgency of
previous attacks where she had crystals and was blocked.
Recently, she's lost some weight as well.

Shamrock, of course!  It isn't the anniversary of his birth, but of
his naming when I started fostering him. Mar 17 2002. He never went
off to any other onetruehome because as far as he was concerned he
already had one.
