Thank you everyone03 Feb 2008 16:57 GMT6
Thank you all for your kinds words and support. It means a lot to me and my
family.  I know one day I will see him and all my other furballs again.  I
talked to the vet yesterday while I took care of the bill.  He put my mind
at rest  there was nothing I could have done.  ...
Cat Bowl Question...03 Feb 2008 14:57 GMT2
After my cat had that irritation on his lower lip, I switched to
dishware bowls until I could get him stainless ones. I ordered two
from Amazon, and they were mismarked and much too small to use. I
really need the bowls he's using now back. I have two black bowls from
Disposal of Kitty Litter03 Feb 2008 02:37 GMT10
I posted this message, or a very similar one, last night and even had
one response and today it is gone. Why would that be? Was it removed
or was there an error on Googles part?
My question is this:

I am considering a Litter Locker, but the bag refills are expensive.
Can those be substituted with any other kind(s) of bags?
Thanks!

Cats With Colds03 Feb 2008 01:32 GMT21
What to do with a cat who is sick with a cold, but can't get to a
doctor right away.
I know you can't give them certain kinds of pain relievers, but I
don't know what is best to buy OTC.
Ginger cat with exudative dermatitis02 Feb 2008 16:35 GMT4
I have a 12 year old ginger female cat which is suffering from extreme
hair loss and scabbing.  In addition to hair loss (leaving bald and
bloody patches on her face, head, and leg), her ears are crusted, and
once the crusts are removed the skin underneath is raw and bleeds.
ranks of cats in a household02 Feb 2008 16:29 GMT1
Is there a book or website that offers detailed and accurate
information on the ranks of cats in a household. Many of the websites
I've come across are written by the average pet owner who think they
know what they're talking about but are actually incorrect. They
fed up with fleas.02 Feb 2008 11:08 GMT2
A bit of background, I have 2 cats, one silky long haired, one medium haired
with a dense undercoat.  Both cats are in the care of my brother because
we've had to move back home and the cats weren't welcome so he's watching
them until we can again.  A few months ago he calls me ...
What can cats sense under a house?02 Feb 2008 01:00 GMT4
Last summer, after my cat had been staring at floor vents for
some weeks, I finally heard a rat gnawing on the floorboards.
Clearly, she either smelled or heard him long before I knew
that he was there. I was eventually able to find the hole he
Possible to have a clean-smelling house with an indoor cat (or two)?     Litterbox robots? Air filters?01 Feb 2008 19:56 GMT7
I love cats and may be getting one (or two) soon.
Thing is, I hate the "cat" smell; which I'm guessing comes 100% from
litter boxes rather than, say, a doggy smell--from the oils / glands
of a dog.
feline vetrinary books for non-professionals01 Feb 2008 19:22 GMT2
Hi all, it looks like you've got a good group going on here. I've got
a question that I think is on topic here.
I'm interested in buying a vetrinary textbook dedicated to cats. I've
got a really good vet, but love my kitties too much not to get as much
