Kitten Sucking20 Jan 2008 00:57 GMT12
I've had cat companions my whole life and I've never had a kitten do
this!  Sammy will "root" on every / any patch of bare skin on me that
she can find and then start slobbering and sucking (with her little
tongue stuck out of her mouth in the "down" position).  She makes VERY
Litter box help needed please20 Jan 2008 00:03 GMT14
Am not asking for the usual type of help to get a cat to use it but to
leave it alone!!
Ever since I got him he has had a fixation for litter boxes.  When he
was small (Like 9 / 10 weeks) he used to lay in it, play in it, ETC.
Re books for the grieving; which ones are helpful?19 Jan 2008 21:30 GMT6
Many of us who grieve for our pets who've passed on have turned to the
'Life After Life' sort of books,in desperation for some consoling
ideas to help us recover as much as possible;
Unfortunately, many of these books seem fraudulent, organized

Cat Carrier Size?19 Jan 2008 11:33 GMT18
OK, never having a cat before I didn't know what to get. The medium
sized ones seemed to large at 24 X 16.6", so I got the small whose
measurement seemed larger than it actually was. My cat is large at
15-16 lbs. and he didn't much like me seeing if he would fit in there.

left paw vs. right paw19 Jan 2008 04:47 GMT2
Has anyone noticed if their cat is a righty or lefty?  I've always
noticed that Otto uses his front left paw when reaching for things.
Recently I decided to see what tricks I could teach my two guys.
They both know "sit" and will do it on command, so I decided to teach

Female cat gone nuts17 Jan 2008 20:45 GMT16
My daughter's cat, now 10 months old, has become almost unbearable.
When we first got Yoshi at 6 weeks, she was very loving.  Even after
her spaying a few weeks later, her personality was great.  Although
she's always been partial to my daughter, she used to jump up in my
So You Think You're Pregnant? A Brief Discussion Of Common Pregnancy     Symptoms17 Jan 2008 19:41 GMT2
A baby begins life even before he is born - from conception until the
uterus finally pushes him out of his mother's body. This is the
phenomenon we call pregnancy. It starts when the male sperm unites
with the female egg and develops into an embryo. While several women

What the heck is my weird cat doing?17 Jan 2008 04:26 GMT11
He will take part of a blanket or sweater in his teeth, bunch it up a
bit under him, and then walk in place with his front paws all the
while purring while holding it in his teeth. He's not humping it, or
really making contact with it near his hind quarters that I can see. I

My old cat died a few months ago.
But before she died, she urinated on the carpet at various places. I am
unable to completely remove the odor.
If I get a new cat, would the odor cause the new cat to pee at the same
