Depression from my cats death31 Jan 2008 16:52 GMT37
I just lost my Cat, she was a siamese but looked more tonkanese to me,
named Kiki. My mom bought her for me when I had just finished the
first grade, so I was around 6 years old. I am now about to turn 28
and she has been with me the entire time, amazing when I reflect on
Best Cat Toy Ever Gets Even Better31 Jan 2008 15:26 GMT6
I told you all about the soft, elasticized drawstring from my Nike yoga
pants that my cats adore because when they let it go it zings across the
room.
Well, I tied the beloved wiggly green snake that Gracie has been conquering
REST IN PEACE   SPIRIT 1-29-200831 Jan 2008 07:56 GMT14
Spirit went into respiratory failure this afternoon.  The vet did everything
he could to save him but he was suffering gasping for air at the end.  I
could not let him go on like that.  I WILL MISS YOU MY FRIEND

Amoxicillin dangerous to Cats?30 Jan 2008 21:45 GMT3
This morning as I was rushing off to work I knocked over my bottle of
amoxicillin. I thought I picked them all up, but when I came home at lunch I
found a partially dissolved gelcap in the cat's water dish. It must have
bounced there. I don't know if it dissolved enough to ...
Cat Peeing On Bath Rug?30 Jan 2008 19:51 GMT4
My cat just got  over that swelling on his lip, and his meow is back
after being hoarse for a few days, but my once good cat is now being
bad and peeing on the bath rug. He also crapped on it a few times when
he was mad at me. His litter box is clean, he has all he can eat.,
Pseudomonas Treatment with one Kidney30 Jan 2008 14:25 GMT5
Our five year old kitty, Sammy, just had a kidney removed at the end
of November. It was totally destroyed...filled with pseudomonas.
He was on amikacin for a week and that seemed to clear
everything. He supposedly has asthma (chronic bronchial infection,
Questions About Black Cats, Genetics and Feral Cats29 Jan 2008 17:52 GMT23
We currently have two house cats that have no specific lineage... they
are just your ordinary run of the mill mongrel cats. We love them both
as if they were our own children (well, almost, hahahaha). Over the
course of this winter whenever it snowed I noticed tracks leading to
Is Nuggy sick?29 Jan 2008 17:14 GMT5
Nuggy just showed up outside so a year ago got him fixed/shots/tests
(clean), released him after a week and he stuck around. He got
'almost' friendly so over time we got close enough to take him in. He
was a mess but after a couple months now the fleas are gone (front-
A different question about cat bowls.29 Jan 2008 15:10 GMT9
A slightly different question about bowls.
Whilst doing the regular litter run, I saw that the pet shop was selling "U"
shaped bowls with no (or at least very shallow) sides.  The notice beside
them claimed that the "stop whiskers touching the bowl!" (their exclamation
Youre An Animal!29 Jan 2008 05:10 GMT1
I'm an overworked city man with a polluting old car, an aching back,
endless bills and threatening letters almost daily from the IRS.
I drive to work, where I'm also under threat. Not enough sales.
Could I be terminated? What will I do?

Hello. I need advice please28 Jan 2008 06:07 GMT11
Does anyone know what home remedy I can give my cat for UTI? I can't
afford to take him to the vet right now. I wonder if cranberry juice
would help? He is 2 yr old and neutered last year, he weighs about 7#.
Antihistamines for a cat?28 Jan 2008 04:53 GMT7
We were told by a vet to use Benedryl, half of an adult tablet, for our
cat's itchiness. Has anyone tried that? He would not eat it in food, and
simply frothed at the mouth and coughed it up every time we tried to
pill him. It must be horrible.
