For those of you who were following Archer's progress with his broken leg,
it appears he is back to normal and ready to take on the world (or at least
his bro-fur).

Young FIV cat has breast cancer04 Nov 2007 02:19 GMT6
I need advise about what is the best to do with my FIV cat who has
been diagnosed with breast cancer last week.
She ist about 4 1/2 or 5yo.
She was found in Queens/NY 2 1/2 years ago, one week before giving
hair loss and excessive drooling - really disturbing04 Nov 2007 00:18 GMT3
first - I noticed the excessive drooling and a little red spot on my cat's
face weeks ago - he has already gone to the vet as I was worried it was a
tooth abcess - (sp?) - no.  according to the vet his teeth are in good shape
and she thought that he has a little cut on his face that ...
Ideal cat nutriotion03 Nov 2007 21:24 GMT4
From <http://www.catnutrition.org/nutrients.php> :
"If you're interested, an adult mouse is roughly 67 percent water, has
a calcium-to-phosphorus ratio of 1.1:1, has 3 percent carbohydrates,
consists of about 57 percent crude protein, and contains 23 percent
Please, someone in western canada adopt this poor, abused animal02 Nov 2007 20:06 GMT5
Is there someone who would adopt this poor cat and save him from a
living hell? I would take him, but I already have two and one is very
tempermental about new arrivals. The text of the ad made me sick to my

Cat and Dog honored for saving masters!
When Debbie Parkhurst choked on a piece of apple at her Maryland home,
her dog jumped in, landing hard on her chest and forcing the morsel to
pop out of her throat. When the Keesling family of Indiana was about
Time out box for kitty...02 Nov 2007 13:15 GMT7
Isaac is your typical rambunctious male kitte, 7 months old, neutered, but
still an ornery pain in the a.s to the older cats at times. Isaac will zero
in on one or the other as the target of his excesive play, until the subject
is actually fleeing to avoid him. Water squirts do ...
SHOULD I TAKE HIM TO A VET?02 Nov 2007 02:52 GMT35
Many of the people in these usenet pets groups work in Veterinarian
Clinics, which makes them biased.
In my city of Tucson, Arizona it is very difficult to find a Vet that
will agree to  reduced cost services, or even payment plans to low
Archer is back at the vet! :<01 Nov 2007 21:40 GMT7
Last night Archer ran up the side of the tall cat tree before DH or I could
stop him.  When he reached the top he, in his usual klutzy style,
overbalanced and fell to the floor with his legs flailing.  He immediately
started limping again.  I checked him over and I don't *think* ...
TUCSON VETS AND MORAL BANKRUPTCY: Was Should I take him to the Vet01 Nov 2007 21:39 GMT8
Interesting all these low life vet techs, vets, and other
"professionals" (a pig by any other name?) cannot offer any
justification for their lack of professionalism or any real committment
to the well being of animals. Instead they offer their feeble grade
Mulch and dangers to cats01 Nov 2007 14:06 GMT4
I just built a cat enclosure for my two cats and I want to put pine
mulch down as the flooring.  Will the pine bark mulch harm them in
any
way?  If it is dangerous, what else would be better for them?
