Anyone else don't like chicken?08 Nov 2007 15:02 GMT3
My fat cat used to love chicken from the Chinese buffet.  At about 8
monthes she would go wild when I come home with some chicken pieces
for her.  After a while she did eat it so I stopped bringing her any.
Today I brought one piece just to test her.  She was not interested.

You know, the weirdest thing I've ever seen a cat do happened at the same
time that Sammy and Demi got into their tussle.  After Sammy had swatted
Demi on the head, while Sammy was sitting there (upright with upright ears
and staring Demi down), and Demi was crouched down and ...

Hi guys.  Hoping to get some helpful info, as I usually do here.  First, I am
taking Jack to the vet, but in the meantime, I am posting here.  Jack is my 6
year old, slightly overweight beauty.  The other night, Saturday I believe it
was, I felt what appears to be a lump.  It is ...
Introducing new cat08 Nov 2007 00:44 GMT1
I'm going about the methods in Pam Johnson-Bennet's book "Cat vs. Cat"
to introduce another cat to my 2 cats.
I'm at the stage where the new cat is sequestered in a separate room
from the others.
One cat is scared, the other ignores us.07 Nov 2007 14:19 GMT29
We have two cats and while one ignores us unless he wants attention,
the other freezes up.  She is fine when it is just me and will play
and sit in my lap, but the second my kids come home, she hides. When
we find her, she goes limp and hides her head. The kids have never
how can you tell a cat has a fever?07 Nov 2007 02:02 GMT21
Can you tell by there ears being very warm?  Or how else?   I have this
sense that my cat is feeling a little under the weather.  She seems more
tired than usual, not as perky looking....  cat people know when their cat
isn't acting usual.  She is eating, drinking water, ...
cat pathways near the ceiling06 Nov 2007 20:41 GMT8
I posted a few pictures of carpeted eight-foot boards (1x4s or 2x4s
will do). They are placed about 6 feet high going in three different
directions. One goes to some large windows and another goes over my
computer area (the third goes elsewhere). Boards can be leaned up

How to remove cat nip off Cat Condo06 Nov 2007 01:29 GMT4

cat spraying sofa05 Nov 2007 19:00 GMT13
How can I convince my (neutered) 15 yar old cat to stop spraying and
pishing on the sofa?  We've got a Feliway diffuser, we've sprayed with
Feliway, we've washed the cushions, we clean the spots with Dumb Cat, but
he won't stop.  He's smelling up the house.
Cat jealous of kittens - nightmare!05 Nov 2007 17:47 GMT1
Our Maine Coon cat is ferociously jealous of her two remaining kittens
- she's spending all her time outside & when she does come in it's
only to eat & hiss/growl/chase at the kittens.
She's coming up two-years old & came straight to us from Breeder.  We
Silly Shamrock video05 Nov 2007 02:09 GMT5
He's such a goofball. My sneakers were out and he was rubbing his
scent all over them. Then Rhett came to see what he was doing, and
well, you can see for yourself. This is pretty much all that any one
will ever see of Rhett. He hides when anyone is here but me, and
