Is this an actual cat?  By cat I mean of the house variety.  This cat
looks like it could be some kind of lynx or maybe even a serval --
especially since its ears are down in each shot.
Can cats tell time?18 Nov 2007 14:04 GMT12
I usually leave for work at 12:30, and I noticed that my cat Meep
likes to help me as I'm putting on my shoes around noon on the couch.
It's become an everyday thing that she says hi, then runs to the door
to be let out, returning as I'm leaving out the door again a half hour
Flotsam and Jetsam18 Nov 2007 14:02 GMT16
After visiting about 10 different Vet Offices, I know ONE reason (other
than their greed) why their fees are so high and they are so hard up for
money. Out of the 10 Offices I walked into, 9 had 3 women sitting on
their fat a.ses doing NOTHING. Instead of running an efficient lean

I have a rather unique problem that I'm desperately
trying to solve.
I've had a small desk-top water feature for the last year or so in my
home office, and it offers up up a relaxing atmosphere via the gentle
The Ultimate Low Budget Interactive Cat Toy :)18 Nov 2007 03:25 GMT9
I have these yoga pants with a thin elastic drawstring that worked itself
out in the dryer.
Flung on either side of the tall scratching post, it is not only a string,
but a stretchy string that, when released, goes ZING and snaps the one
Outdoor cats & fleas18 Nov 2007 01:35 GMT3
One owner told me that the monthly treatments alone is not enough.  He
has to give flea baths also.
Any outdoors cats here with good flea solutions?

Lantus shelf life?15 Nov 2007 21:33 GMT7
The vet just switched us from Vetsulin to Lantus and there is a
warning on th Lantus box that once it's opened it's only good for 28
days. If that's so, that's gong to be damned expensive medicine. Ten
cc (1,000 units) cost $90 and the cat only gets 60 units per month. So
Lantus insulin cost15 Nov 2007 20:44 GMT15
My vet just switched my dibetic cat to Lantus and I've found a HUGE
variation in costs. My regular pharmacy was $188, but the pharmacy in
the supermarket nextdoor was only $88.
What's the best price available?

Abcessed tooth13 Nov 2007 16:38 GMT47
I think I inadvertantly drained an abcessed tooth on my cat. He
smelled horrible, his fur is becoming unruly, he is drooling, his eyes
are crusty, and he has a slight limp. On top of that he is whizzing so
bad, he sound asthmatic.
cat eats litter and ashes13 Nov 2007 12:19 GMT3
Hello, *
Our cat occasionally eats litter (clean litter, as he is not normally using
it) and I have also seen him eating ashes from the fireplace. For the rest,
he looks good, and eats normally, but I am worried about the "additives".
new friends for adult kitties13 Nov 2007 12:17 GMT4
We have a 6 year old female cat that we are getting a kitten companion
for. We have encountered some people that believe we need two kittens
in order to give the adult a break from playtime while still occupying
the kitten. Help, we need to make a decision soon!
